Saturday Night Live, it can either be hip or funny, but not both.

Reminds me of an interview with Dana Carvey years ago. He complained that Eddie Murphy used to be funny. Then Eddie tried for being cool, and stopped being funny.

Phil was so funny and one of my all-time favorite comedians. He did a great impression of Bubba too.
