They're putting Christmas decorations up in the stores before Halloween so why not all Christmas on the radio on Nov. 15? "It hasn't snowed a single flurry, but Santa dear we're in a hurry..."*
Several radio stations have already switched to all Christmas--oops, all HHHHHHOLIDAY-- music by now. (Any Kwanzaa tunes? How about Chanukah? Are they playing that Adam Sandler song?) Hey, why not; get people in the mood to shop and spend money, help the economy.
Link below is currently what stations are all-"Holiday" though already it's outdated (at least 2 have just switched but not reflected on site yet...WODS 103.3 in Boston and Coast 93.3 in Providence area)
If you like Christmas music this early, be their guest. If not I guess there's other stations...
Next year maybe they'll go all Yule on Oct 15.

As a Christian, I'm offended that the general secular society has expropriated one of the holiest days of the Christian faith for the promotion of crass commercialism and greed. /sarc

The CommieRats have tried to co-opt Christianity and tell us that Jesus wants us to pay higher taxes for a welfare state.
There is no charity or free will in paying Caesar. Our tithing comes before our debt to government. Our Christian obligation is not met by paying our taxes.
Stan Freberg! I remember that from when I was a kid. Great stuff.
Well said.
Gargh. I'm facing an interesting situation at work. I want to send Christmas cards out to my clients, but The Powers That Be have a policy of 'Season's Greetings' cards.
I'm defying that policy this year. No more Mr Nice Secularist.
I get Happy Eid cards, Happy Diwali cards and all sorts. I like them, it's nice that people think of me.
So why can't I send them a Christams card?
This year, I'm going to find out how many people have the same tolerance that they demand of me. This year, Christmas is back on!
It's November 15th... Rommel's Birthday!
