Kinda squeaked by on that one, didn't ya??
All I ask for is no overtime.
lol!! i'm female!!!!!!!
Looks like I'll have to settle to listening to Mick Hubert's call on the Internet.
The coach lost that game when he passed up an easy FG and went for a 4th down TD.
They got behind, but should have won that game.
I'm such a dunce -- sorry!
GO BUCKS! ...and BLUE... my loyalties are divided.
One of my brothers is a Professor at THE Ohio State University. My other brother got his PhD from UofM. I just watch the game and stay out of their way! :-D
Ohio has a bit of an edge with me, though, because I'm an Ohio native. But then I also lived in Michigan for 8 years. And my husband is a Michigander and supports UofM.
Oh, I'm SOOOOOOOO confused!
:-D
John Kerry to a group in southern Michigan during the campaign:
"'I just came here from Bowling Green,' Kerry told the crowd to subdued applause. 'I was smart enough not to pick a choice between the Falcons and the, well, you know, all those other teams out there. I just go for Buckeye football, that's where I'm coming from.'"

Of course, this was greeted by a chorus of boos, because the crowd was FULL of UofM supporters. Doofus.
Wonder why Michiganders were stupid enough to vote for this fool?? One of life's mysteries, I guess. :)
As much distaste as I have for "that team up North", I am Big Ten loyal. I think all Big Ten fans should be proud that we hold the number one and two spots.
I could pull out all the tired jokes, such as "what does the average University of Michigan student get on his SAT?....Drool." Or "How many University of Michigan freshman does it take to change a light bulb?..... None, it's a sophomore course."....:)
But I won't sink to that level, I'll just stick with my tagline.....GO BUCKEYES!
You forgot:
How do you get a Michigan Alum off of your doorstep?
Pay him for the pizza
:)
We've never listened to the games online, we can usually get it on am radio but I don't know about this weekend. What website do you listen from?
It may take a sinkhole to clear out the FSU coaching staff...BB as much as said so last week!
No kidding. I am still calling for the upset...27-27.
Yeah, and your YUCKeyes really ran the Illini out of their stadium too. Come Saturday you're gonna think Jim Tressel was somehow cloned into Mike Dewine and Troy Smith into Bob Ney.
As proud as I am of our Buckeye's this year, I think the most poignant moments for me is seeing them kneel together in prayer after each game.
That is the kind of leadership and morals that Coach Tressel teaches. And everytime I hear them sing "Carmen Ohio", I remember the fond memories I have of looking over at my late daddy singing that with the crowd, after my daughter's BB games.
Ohio State fans are so special. My daddy grew up dirt poor, and realized his dream when my daughter got her scholarship at Ohio State. He went with my daughter and me for her recruiting visit there, and heard my daughter say to head coach Beth Burns when she got her offer, "I would be honored to be a Buckeye".
He got to meet Archie Griffin that day, and often said after it was his dream come true, for his granddaughter to be a Buckeye. During her four years playing there, he was able to travel to places he had never before. Hawaii, Alaska, and California. I'll never forget what my daughter's hard work and opportunites from Ohio State did for my dad in his last years.
He was buried in his Block "O" sweater in May, 2004.
CARMEN OHIO (Cie Grant did an excellent version)
Oh come let's sing Ohio's praise
And songs to Alma Mater raise
While our hearts rebounding thrill
With joy which death alone can still
Summer's heat or winter's cold
The seasons pass the years will roll
Time and change will surely (truly) show
How firm thy friendship ... OHIO!
You are living up to your name.
So that is how you rejoice and are glad in the day the Lord has made? Those pictures are indeed worth 3,000 words.
The Lord believes in fair play. He wouldn't have tried to cover up a 3rd rate buglary in the fourth quarter of an election campaign when he was ahead ... nor run out on the field to punch a player on an opposing team in the fourth quarter when he was behind. Then again, the Lord's name is "Jehova," not "Richard" or "Woody".
