My son is a Marine. He was supposed to leave for Iraq last week but it got pushed back 30 days. His wife is pregnant and last week she was rushed to the ER and diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes. She is already a Hi Risk Pregnancy and this has my son over the top. She wanted to stay home when he leaves ( they also have a 2 year old) but now she will go stay with her mom.
We are all so worried about her and then all the trouble over in Iraq right now makes it worse. On top of that my mother has to go in for surgery in 2 weeks and I try to keep her away from the news about Iraq. She has 90% blockage in her leg and is living on pain pills to get through the day. Her doc put her on Xanax because of the stress worrying about my son.
We need to keep them in our prayers!
Prayers for all the members of MarineMom613's family.

Lord Jesus, think on me
And purge away my sin;
From earthborn passions set me free
And make me pure within.
Lord Jesus, think on me,
With many a care oppressed;
Let me Thy loving servant be
And taste Thy promised rest.
Lord Jesus, think on me
Amid the battles strife;
In all my pain and misery
Be Thou my Health and Life.
Lord Jesus, think on me
Nor let me go astray;
Through darkness and perplexity
Point Thou the heavenly way.
Lord Jesus, think on me
When floods the tempest high;
When on doth rush the enemy,
O Savior, be Thou nigh!
Lord Jesus, think on me
That, when the flood is past,
I may theternal brightness see
And share Thy joy at last.
Lord Jesus, think on me
That I may sing above
To Father, Spirit, and to Thee
The strains of praise and love.
--Synesius of Cyrene, circa 430

Lord, Thou wilt hear me when I pray,
I am forever Thine;
I fear before Thee all the day,
Nor would I dare to sin.
And while I rest my weary head,
From cares and business free,
Tis sweet conversing on my bed,
With my own heart and Thee.
I pay this evening sacrifice:
And when my work is done,
Great God, my faith and hope relies
Upon Thy grace alone.
Thus, with my thoughts composed to peace,
Ill give mine eyes to sleep;
Thy hand in safety keeps my days,
And will my slumbers keep.
-- Isaac Watts, The Psalms of David, 1719.
