Psa 37:23 The steps of a man are established by the LORD, when he delights in his way;
Psa 37:24 though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the LORD upholds his hand.
........
Psa 17:5 My steps have held fast to your paths; my feet have not slipped.
Psa 17:6 I call upon you, for you will answer me, O God; incline your ear to me; hear my words.
...........
Psa 119:133 Keep steady my steps according to your promise, and let no iniquity get dominion over me.
.........
Psa 85:13 Righteousness will go before him and make his footsteps a way.

OH LORD we call upon you to guide us and direct us today. We don't always know where to go and how to walk before you. We wait for your help.

Psa 32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

Father, you are good and kind and we thank you for comfort and joy in the way today.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life........

O for a closer walk with God,
A calm and heavenly frame,
A light to shine upon the road
That leads me to the Lamb!

Where is the blessedness I knew,
When first I saw the Lord?
Where is the soul refreshing view
Of Jesus and His Word?

What peaceful hours I once enjoyed!
How sweet their memory still!
But they have left an aching void
The world can never fill.

Return, O holy Dove, return,
Sweet messenger of rest!
I hate the sins that made Thee mourn
And drove Thee from my breast.

The dearest idol I have known,
Whate’er that idol be
Help me to tear it from Thy throne,
And worship only Thee.

So shall my walk be close with God,
Calm and serene my frame;
So purer light shall mark the road
That leads me to the Lamb.
--William Cowper

So Thankful for your Posts, Dear Ones in Christ, and Praising our Lord for His Blessings through His Church!

The Hymn by our Brother William Cowper you Shared with us, bp7, is Wonderful, and my Spirit was Rejoicing to Think of how he is Filled with Joy and Peace as he Beholds our Savior's Face. 'I am Like a Green Olive Tree in the House of God; I Trust in the Mercy of God Forever and Ever!' (Ps. 52:8)

I Found a Paraphrase of Psalm 57 that was an Enjoyable Read this Morning:

"Be good to me, God—and now!
I've run to you for dear life.
I'm hiding out under your wings
Until the hurricane blows over.
I call out to High God,
The God who holds me together.
He sends orders from heaven and saves me,
He humiliates those who kick me around.
God delivers generous love,
He makes good on his word.

I find myself in a pride of lions
Who are wild for a taste of human flesh;
Their teeth are lances and arrows,
Their tongues are sharp daggers.

Soar high in the skies, O God!
Cover the whole earth with your glory!
They booby-trapped my path;
I thought I was dead and done for.
They dug a mantrap to catch me,
And fell in headlong themselves.

I'm ready, God, so ready,
Ready from head to toe,
Ready to sing, ready to raise a tune:
"Wake up, soul!
Wake up, harp! wake up, lute!
Wake up, you sleepyhead sun!"

I'm thanking you, God, out loud in the streets,
Singing your praises in town and country.
The deeper your love, the higher it goes;
Every cloud is a flag to your faithfulness.

Soar high in the skies, O God!
Cover the whole earth with your glory! (Ps.57)

Thank you. What a glorious truth.
