Joy unlooked for is a gift you bring, O Beloved Master,
a touch of hope within the night
like a promise of light
that tells us darkness has an end.
A drop of everlasting water, this gift you bring,
a touch of balm to soothe the grieving heart
breaking, hopeless, torn apart
lost in remorse for its sin.
A gift that will bloom like the fairest rose, this joy,
a gift held in the hand of our unseen lover,
a kiss from Heaven, there to hover
and soothe the aching of one's soul.
Offered freely by the most generous of hearts, Your gift,
a pearl filled with the promise of heaven,
in purity, perfection,
this is the joy you plant within our hearts.
Be enthroned in my heart, O Master,
You who bought that pearl so bright,
giving your all to give us your light,
the joy that comes from walking with you.
From darkness into the light, hand in hand,
Let me walk with you at my side,
And in the perfect joy that only you can provide,
may I find my true home forever.

Heb 11:1 To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see.
..........
Heb 11:32 Should I go on? There isn't enough time for me to speak of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and the prophets.
Heb 11:33 Through faith they fought whole countries and won. They did what was right and received what God had promised. They shut the mouths of lions,
Heb 11:34 put out fierce fires, escaped being killed by the sword. They were weak, but became strong; they were mighty in battle and defeated the armies of foreigners.
Heb 11:35 Through faith women received their dead relatives raised back to life. Others, refusing to accept freedom, died under torture in order to be raised to a better life.
Heb 11:36 Some were mocked and whipped, and others were put in chains and taken off to prison.
Heb 11:37 They were stoned, they were sawed in two, they were killed by the sword. They went around clothed in skins of sheep or goats---poor, persecuted, and mistreated.
Heb 11:38 The world was not good enough for them! They wandered like refugees in the deserts and hills, living in caves and holes in the ground.
Heb 11:39 What a record all of these have won by their faith! Yet they did not receive what God had promised,
Heb 11:40 because God had decided on an even better plan for us. His purpose was that only in company with us would they be made perfect.
......
Heb 12:1 As for us, we have this large crowd of witnesses around us. So then, let us rid ourselves of everything that gets in the way, and of the sin which holds on to us so tightly, and let us run with determination the race that lies before us.
Father,
I thank you for a new day.
I pray especially for the Persecuted Church.
I ask that you would give them Wisdom that confounds their enemies, Courage, Joy, Patient Endurance, and that you would deliver them from all fear.
I ask that you would help them be certain of your Will in all their trials.
Keep them from unbelief and doubting.
Help them to know they are Holy living Sacrifices to you and your Glory.
I ask that you would provide them with your Word to strengthen them.
I pray that you would provide for their Little Ones.
I thank you that Jesus has prayed for us all....
Joh 17:14 I gave them your message, and the world hated them, because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world.
Joh 17:15 I do not ask you to take them out of the world, but I do ask you to keep them safe from the Evil One.
Joh 17:16 Just as I do not belong to the world, they do not belong to the world.
I ask that you would give them a strong sense of your Presence during their trials, like Stephen had....
I ask all in Jesus' Name

From all Thy saints in warfare, for all Thy saints at rest,
To Thee, O blessèd Jesus, all praises be addressed;
Thou, Lord, didst win the battle, that they might conquerors be;
Their crowns of living glory are lit with rays from Thee.
Praise for the first of martyrs, who saw Thee ready stand
To aid in midst of torments, to plead at Gods right hand.
Share we with him, if summoned by death our Lord to own,
On earth the faithful witness, in heaven the martyrs crown.
Then praise we God the Father, and praise we God the Son,
And God the Holy Spirit, eternal Three in One;
Till all the ransomed number fall down before the throne,
And honor, power, and glory, ascribe to God alone.

Our Brother William Cowper Certainly had a Heavy Cross to Bear with his Nervous System Disorder, and his Occasional (Wrong) Feelings that he wasn't Really Born Again. I Remember Reading Somewhere that, on his Deathbed, Right as he was Departing this Life, his Face Suddenly Took on the Expression of what was Described as a 'Holy Surprise!' I Love that; he was Ushered Instantly into the Presence of Him whom his Soul Loved! Our Lord is So Wonderful, Wonderful Beyond Words!
JEHOVAH-JESUS by William Cowper
My song shall bless the LORD of all,
My praise shall climb to his abode;
Thee, Saviour, by that name I call,
The great Supreme, the mighty GOD.
Without beginning, or decline,
Object of faith, and not of sense;
Eternal ages saw him shine,
He shines eternal ages hence.
As much, when in the manger laid,
Almighty ruler of the sky;
As when the six days' works he made
Fill'd all the morning-stars with joy.
Of all the crowns JEHOVAH bears,
Salvation is his dearest claim;
That gracious sound well-pleas'd he hears,
And owns EMMANUEL for his name.
A cheerful confidence I feel,
My well-plac'd hopes with joy I see;
My bosom glows with heav'nly zeal,
To worship him who died for me.
As man, he pities my complaint,
His pow'r and truth are all divine;
He will not fail, he cannot faint,
Salvation's sure. and must be mine.
Thank you, Dear Master, for Your Love for us that Never Ends or Fades Away. You have 'Blessed us with Every Spiritual Blessing in the Heavenlies in Christ,' and we Exalt Your Lovely Name. For Your Glory, we Adore You, Lord Jesus, amen.
Amen.
Thank you Lord for this Prayer Fellowship.
Amen. So many FReepers are praying today for President Ford, many joining us with candles:

Psa 116:5 Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; our God is merciful.
Psa 116:6 The LORD preserves the simple; when I was brought low, he saved me.
Psa 116:7 Return, O my soul, to your rest; for the LORD has dealt bountifully with you.
Psa 116:8 For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling;
Psa 116:9 I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
Oh Lord, Your strong right arm will deliver us.
Let us rest in you tonight while your eye is upon us.
You are keeping us and not slumbering.
Praises rise to you in the heaven of heavens while we sleep.
I ask that you would help us awaken with a song of praise and a Scripture in our hearts tomorrow.
Establish us and help those who are in difficulty.
Let Faith grow in the night.
Pour out your Spirit and fill us again.
Let us be patient in tribulation and as you are at work in us to will and to do of your good pleasure.
Help us to not draw back in discouragement.
Give us hope in deliverance, and faith, that you know of, and will provide for all our needs.
May we extend patience to our brothers and sisters and families and friends.
Let us be salt and light where we are tomorrow.
I ask it in Jesus' Name
Able to Deliver
O troubled heart, be thou not afraid,
In the Lord thy God, let thy hope be stayed;
He will hear thy cry and will give thee aid,
Whateer thy cross may be.
Refrain
He is able still to deliver thee,
And His own right hand thy defense shall be:
He is able still to deliver thee,
Then be thou not afraid.
O troubled heart, tho thy foes unite,
Let thy faith be strong and thy armor bright;
Thou shalt overcome thro His powr and might,
And more than conquror be.
Refrain
O troubled heart, when thy way is drear,
He will rescue thee and dispel thy fear;
In thy greatest need He is always near,
To Him all glory be.

Joh 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
..........
Joh 6:44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.
..........
Joh 6:63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is of no avail. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.
Joh 6:64 But there are some of you who do not believe." (For Jesus knew from the beginning who those were who did not believe, and who it was who would betray him.)
Joh 6:65 And he said, "This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father."
..........
1Ti 2:1 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people,
1Ti 2:2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.
1Ti 2:3 This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior,
1Ti 2:4 who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
.........
Isa 45:22 "Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.
Father, I thank you that you have always desired to extend your Salvation to men.
I ask that you would have great Mercy on us.
Send a great Repentance to our Nation, so that we will humble ourselves before you.
Lord, If we are still ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, can we be His?
I ask for a deep recognition of our need of cleansing;
for a great sorrow for sin;
for a clear realization that outside of you we can do nothing.
I know that all will not come, but many may.
I pray for a great Salvation in this Nation as has happened before in our history.
Mar 13:33 Be on guard, keep awake. For you do not know when the time will come.
It is much later than it has ever been.
Please extend Mercy and send Salvation.
I ask this in Jesus' Name

Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,
Snatch them in pity from sin and the grave;
Weep oer the erring one, lift up the fallen,
Tell them of Jesus, the mighty to save.
Refrain
Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,
Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save.
Though they are slighting Him, still He is waiting,
Waiting the penitent child to receive;
Plead with them earnestly, plead with them gently;
He will forgive if they only believe.
Refrain
Down in the human heart, crushed by the tempter,
Feelings lie buried that grace can restore;
Touched by a loving heart, wakened by kindness,
Chords that were broken will vibrate once more.
Refrain
Rescue the perishing, duty demands it;
Strength for thy labor the Lord will provide;
Back to the narrow way patiently win them;
Tell the poor wandrer a Savior has died.

Again, as evenings shadow falls,
We gather in these hallowed walls;
And vesper hymn and vesper prayer
Rise mingling on the holy air.
May struggling hearts that seek release
Here find the rest of Gods own peace;
And, strengthened here by hymn and prayer,
Lay down the burden and the care.
O God, our Light! to Thee we bow;
Within all shadows standest Thou;
Give deeper calm than night can bring;
Give sweeter songs than lips can sing.
Lifes tumult we must meet again,
We cannot at the shrine remain;
But in the spirits secret cell
May hymn and prayer forever dwell.

O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant,
O come ye, O come ye, to Bethlehem.
Come and behold Him, born the King of angels;
Refrain
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord.
True God of true God, Light from Light Eternal,
Lo, He shuns not the Virgins womb;
Son of the Father, begotten, not created;
Refrain
Sing, choirs of angels, sing in exultation;
O sing, all ye citizens of heaven above!
Glory to God, all glory in the highest;
Refrain
See how the shepherds, summoned to His cradle,
Leaving their flocks, draw nigh to gaze;
We too will thither bend our joyful footsteps;
Refrain
Lo! star led chieftains, Magi, Christ adoring,
Offer Him incense, gold, and myrrh;
We to the Christ Child bring our hearts oblations.
Refrain
Child, for us sinners poor and in the manger,
We would embrace Thee, with love and awe;
Who would not love Thee, loving us so dearly?
Refrain
Yea, Lord, we greet Thee, born this happy morning;
Jesus, to Thee be glory given;
Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing.

Thee will I love, my Strength, my Tower,
Thee will I love, my Joy, my Crown,
Thee will I love with all my power,
In all Thy works, and Thee alone;
Thee will I love, till the pure fire
Fill my whole soul with chaste desire.
Ah, why did I so late Thee know,
Thee, lovelier than the sons of men!
Ah, why did I no sooner go
To Thee, the only ease in pain!
Ashamed, I sigh, and inly mourn,
That I so late to Thee did turn.
In darkness willingly I strayed,
I sought Thee, yet from Thee I roved;
Far wide my wandering thoughts were spread,
Thy creatures more than Thee I loved;
And now if more at length I see,
Tis through Thy light and comes from Thee.
I thank Thee, uncreated Sun,
That Thy bright beams on me have shined;
I thank Thee, who hast overthrown
My foes, and healed my wounded mind;
I thank Thee, whose enlivening voice
Bids my freed heart in Thee rejoice.
Uphold me in the doubtful race,
Nor suffer me again to stray;
Strengthen my feet with steady pace
Still to press forward in Thy way;
My soul and flesh, O Lord of might,
Fill, satiate, with Thy heavenly light.
Give to mine eyes refreshing tears,
Give to my heart chaste, hallowed fires,
Give to my soul, with filial fears,
The love that all Heavens host inspires;
That all my powers, with all their might,
In Thy sole glory may unite.
Thee will I love, my joy, my crown,
Thee will I love, my Lord, my God;
Thee will I love, beneath Thy frown,
Or smile, Thy scepter, or Thy rod;
What though my flesh and heart decay?
Thee shall I love in endless day!
Prayer for zeaal's husband.
Father in Heaven, full of Mercy and compassion, I pray that you would touch this man and bring about his healing. Comfort zeaal. Provide for their every need. Calm her fears. Help her to get rest so that she can care for her husband. You carry the burden for her.
Mat 11:28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
Mat 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Please let this all work together for their good.
Help them to see your hand in everything; good parking places, kind medical staff, thoughtful family and friends, help with the weather and traveling. Let there be enough of what they need. You know all things. Please guide and direct them.
Thank you for your Loving Kindness.
Hear our prayers Oh Precious Lord.
