Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.
Psalm 127:1>
At this time, when feelings run high, the world seems crazy, and anger seems to be the one thing the peoples of the world have in common, I invite you, my fellow FReepers, to join me in prayers and meditation for guidance, God's help and for our fellow man, for America, our troops, and all our own needs.
Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
That calls me from a world of care,
And bids me at my Fathers throne
Make all my wants and wishes known.
In seasons of distress and grief,
My soul has often found relief
And oft escaped the tempters snare
By thy return, sweet hour of prayer!
William Bradbury
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth should change,
though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea;
though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble with its tumult.
Psalm 46: 1-3
Bump for a beautiful powerful thread. Hubby and I watched “The Nativity” last night and bawled our eyes out. Jesus Christ is my Savior.
The Love of God {Lyrics and Composer: Frederick M. Lehman, 1917}
The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell;
It goes beyond the highest star,
And reaches to the lowest hell;
The guilty pair, bowed down with care,
God gave His Son to win;
His erring child He reconciled,
And pardoned from his sin.
O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure
The saints and angels song.
When years of time shall pass away,
And earthly thrones and kingdoms fall,
When men, who here refuse to pray,
On rocks and hills and mountains call,
Gods love so sure, shall still endure,
All measureless and strong;
Redeeming grace to Adams race
The saints and angels song.
O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure
The saints and angels song.
Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade,
To write the love of God above,
Would drain the ocean dry.
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky.
O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure
The saints and angels song.

Be Exalted and Magnified, our Glorious Lord of Hosts. In Thy Name, and for Thine Excellent Glory we Pray, amen.
Behold, what Manner of Love the Father hath Bestowed Upon us,
That we Should be Called the Sons of God. (1Jn.3:1)
Thank you Kitty Mittens for that hymn.
I haven’t heard it in a while.
Amen to your Post.
Psa 86:6 Give ear, O LORD, to my prayer; listen to my plea for grace.
Psa 86:15 But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.
Psa 111:4 He has caused his wondrous works to be remembered; the LORD is gracious and merciful.
Psa 116:5 Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; our God is merciful.
Joh 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Joh 1:15 (John bore witness about him, and cried out, “This was he of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me ranks before me, because he was before me.’”)
Joh 1:16 And from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.
Heavenly Father, thank you as you work all things together for our good.
Thank you for the costly Blood that makes us holy and blameless in your sight.
Give us simple hearts and single eyes that behold your truth and glory.
Finish that work which you started in us, I ask, in the Mighty name of Jesus.

Join, all ye ransomed sons of grace,
The holy joy prolong,
And shout to the Redeemers praise
A solemn midnight song.
Blessing, and thanks, and love, and might,
Be to our Jesus givn,
Who turns our darkness into light
Who turns our hell to Heavn.
Thither our faithful souls He leads,
Thither He bids us rise,
With crowns of joy upon our heads,
To meet Him in the skies.
We are Your people, the sheep of Your pasture. May our President and our troops dwell in the shadow of Your wings as they continue the work You have set before them. And may the Name of Jesus Christ be glorified in their lives. Blessed is the Name of the Lord. Amen.

Isa 45:22 “Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.
Isa 45:23 By myself I have sworn; from my mouth has gone out in righteousness a word that shall not return: ‘To me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear allegiance.’
Rom 14:11 for it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.”
Php 2:9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name,
Php 2:10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
Php 2:11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
http://www.cyberhymnal.org/htm/a/t/atthenam.htm
At the Name of Jesus, every knee shall bow,
Every tongue confess Him King of glory now;
Tis the Fathers pleasure we should call Him Lord,
Who from the beginning was the mighty Word.
Mighty and mysterious in the highest height,
God from everlasting, very light of light:
In the Fathers bosom with the spirit blest,
Love, in love eternal, rest, in perfect rest.
At His voice creation sprang at once to sight,
All the angel faces, all the hosts of light,
Thrones and dominations, stars upon their way,
All the heavenly orders, in their great array.
Humbled for a season, to receive a name
From the lips of sinners unto whom He came,
Faithfully He bore it, spotless to the last,
Brought it back victorious when from death He passed.
Bore it up triumphant with its human light,
Through all ranks of creatures, to the central height,
To the throne of Godhead, to the Fathers breast;
Filled it with the glory of that perfect rest.
Name Him, brothers, name Him, with love strong as death
But with awe and wonder, and with bated breath!
He is God the Savior, He is Christ the Lord,
Ever to be worshipped, trusted and adored.
In your hearts enthrone Him; there let Him subdue
All that is not holy, all that is not true;
Crown Him as your Captain in temptations hour;
Let His will enfold you in its light and power.
Brothers, this Lord Jesus shall return again,
With His Fathers glory, with His angel train;
For all wreaths of empire meet upon His brow,
And our hearts confess Him King of glory now.

I Will Call upon The LORD
Who Is Worthy to Be Praised
So Shall I Be Safe from My Enemies
The LORD Liveth
And Blessed Be My Rock
And Let The GOD Of My Salvation be Exalted
The LORD Liveth
And Blessed Be My Rock
And Let The GOD Of My Salvation be Exalted
I Will Call upon The LORD
Who Is Worthy to Be Praised
So Shall I Be Safe from My Enemies
The LORD Liveth
And Blessed Be My Rock
And Let The GOD Of My Salvation be Exalted
The LORD Liveth

I Will Call upon The LORD
Who Is Worthy to Be Praised

And Let The GOD Of My Salvation be Exalted
The LORD Liveth
And Blessed Be My Rock
And Let The GOD Of My Salvation be Exalted
Because Thou hast Been my Help,
Therefore in the Shadow of Thy Wings will I Rejoice. (Ps.63:7)

Now that the daystar glimmers bright
We suppliantly pray
That He, the uncreated Light,
May guide us on our way.
No sinful word, nor deed of wrong,
Nor thoughts that idly rove,
But simple truth be on our tongue,
And in our hearts be love.
And while the hours in order flow,
O Christ, securely fence
Our gates, beleaguered by the foe,
The gate of every sense.
And grant that to Thine honor, Lord,
Our daily toil may tend;
That we begin it at Thy Word,
And in Thy favor end.
To God the Father glory be,
And to His only Son,
And to the Spirit, One and Three,
While endless ages run.

Daily Light on the Daily Path
July 11
Morning
I am with you to save you.
Can the prey be taken from the mighty, or the captives of a tyrant be rescued? For thus says the Lord: Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken, and the prey of the tyrant be rescued, for I will contend with those who contend with you. . . . Then all flesh shall know that I am the Lord your Savior, and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
We do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.Because he himself has suffered when tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way; though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand.
Jer. 15:20; Isa. 49:24-26; Isa. 41:10; Heb. 4:15; Heb. 2:18; Ps. 37:23, 24
Awake, my soul, and with the sun
thy daily stage of duty run;
shake off dull sloth, and joyful rise
to pay thy morning sacrifice.
Lord, I my vows to thee renew;
disperse my sins as morning dew;
guard my first springs of thought and will,
and with thyself my spirit fill.
Direct, control, suggest, this day,
all I design or do or say;
that all my powers, with all their might,
in thy sole glory may unite.
Praise God, from whom all blessings flow;
praise him, all creatures here below;
praise him above, ye heavenly host:
praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

O splendor of God’s glory bright,
O thou that bringest light from light,
O Light of Light, light’s living spring,
O Day, all days illumining.
O thou true Sun, on us thy glance
let fall in royal radiance,
the Spirit’s sanctifying beam
upon our earthly senses stream.
The Father, too, our prayers implore,
Father of glory evermore;
the Father of all grace and might,
to banish sin from our delight.
To guide whate’er we nobly do,
with love all envy to subdue,
to make ill-fortune turn to fair,
and give us grace our wrongs to bear.
Our mind be in his keeping placed
our body true to him and chaste,
where only faith her fire shall feed,
to burn the tares of Satan’s seed.
And Christ to us for food shall be,
from him our drink that welleth free,
the Spirit’s wine, that maketh whole,
and, mocking not, exalts the soul.
Rejoicing may this day go hence,
like virgin dawn our innocence,
like fiery noon our faith appear,
now know the gloom of twilight drear.
Morn in her rosy car is borne;
let him come forth our perfect morn,
the Word in God the Father one,
the Father perfect in the Son.
—Robert Bridges, 1899
1Jn 5:10 Whoever believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. Whoever does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son.
1Jn 5:11 And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
1Jn 5:12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
1Jn 5:13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life.
Oh precious Jesus, be glorified and honored in our lives today.
I thank you that by your Word I can KNOW that you are the Son of God, sent for my Salvation, and that because you live, I know I have redemption and eternal Life.
I thank you that through your Word I can be sure of my Salvation that you have “finished”.
Lead us like a Shepherd, into green pastures, beside still waters, in paths of Righteousness for your Name’s sake.
I lift you up. You are my King.
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.
May you be seen by those looking for you with a whole heart.
Comfort those who grieve; hold up those who are weary; touch those who need your intervention, I humbly and confidently ask.
Psa 66:1 To the choirmaster. A Song. A Psalm. Shout for joy to God, all the earth;
Psa 66:2 sing the glory of his name; give to him glorious praise!
Psa 66:3 Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies come cringing to you.
Psa 66:4 All the earth worships you and sings praises to you; they sing praises to your name.” Selah

I Remember this Beautiful Song from Years Ago, and Wanted to Post it Here:
RISE AGAIN (Lyrics and Composer: Dallas Holm}
"Go ahead drive the nails in my hands,
Laugh at me where you stand,
Go ahead and say it isn't me,
The day will come when you will see,
Cause Ill rise again,
Theres no power on earth can tie me down,
Yes Ill rise again,
Death cant keep me in the ground,
Go ahead and mock my name,
My love for you is still the same,
Go ahead and bury me,
But very soon I will be free,
Cause Ill rise again,
Theres no power on earth can tie me down,
Yes Ill rise again,
Death cant keep me in the ground,
Go ahead and say Im dead and gone,
But you will see that you were wrong,
Go ahead and try to hide the Son,
But all will see that Im the one,
Cause Ill come again,
Theres no power on earth can keep me back,
Yes Ill come again,
Come to take my people back"
O Master our King, how we Wish this was the Day of Your Return! For So Long, Men have Mocked You, and Scorned Thy Blessed Name. We Long to See Thee Crowned as Eternity's King! May Thy Righteous Reign Come Soon, our Loving Savior-Lord.
Thank You for Caring for us, and for Dying that we Might Live. Be Pleased to Touch Thy Children with Blessing and Grace, as we Pray in our Shepherd's Name, amen.
But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Eph.2:4-9)
I am joined in prayer for this lady!
Keeping Tina in prayer.
