Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.
Psalm 127:1>
At this time, when feelings run high, the world seems crazy, and anger seems to be the one thing the peoples of the world have in common, I invite you, my fellow FReepers, to join me in prayers and meditation for guidance, God's help and for our fellow man, for America, our troops, and all our own needs.
Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
That calls me from a world of care,
And bids me at my Fathers throne
Make all my wants and wishes known.
In seasons of distress and grief,
My soul has often found relief
And oft escaped the tempters snare
By thy return, sweet hour of prayer!
William Bradbury
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth should change,
though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea;
though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble with its tumult.
Psalm 46: 1-3

Pro 2:1 My son, if you receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you,
Pro 2:2 making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding;
Pro 2:3 yes, if you call out for insight and raise your voice for understanding,
Pro 2:4 if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures,
Pro 2:5 then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God.
Pro 2:6 For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding;
Pro 2:7 he stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk in integrity,
Pro 2:8 guarding the paths of justice and watching over the way of his saints
Oh Heavenly Father,
Watch over our way today, granting wisdom and every good thing that you give to those who wait upon you.
Please give relief and help and strength to those who are in difficulty this morning.
Bless my brothers and sisters in Christ. How pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together. I was glad when they said to me let us go unto the house of the Lord. What gladness when your prayer warriors assemble!
Isa 52:8 The voice of your watchmen--they lift up their voice; together they sing for joy; for eye to eye they see the return of the LORD to Zion.

Amen Lord........
Just a note to say I have been in bad pain all night and will be heading to the ER in a few minutes to be checked. Haven't a clue what is wrong. Just lots of pain on my right side. Taking these words with me. Polly
Col 3:23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,
Col 3:24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
Thank you Lord for the work you give us to provide for our families. Help us to glorify you at work. To be thankful, even in difficult situations and with difficult co-workers, so that your Son may be seen and exalted. So that salt and light would draw many to the Lord. You will help us.
Jer 32:17 "Sovereign LORD, you made the earth and the sky by your great power and might; nothing is too difficult for you.
In Jesus' Name we ask this help.

Sing to the Lord, All the Earth! Sing of His Glorious Name! (Ps.66:1)
God has Ascended with a Mighty Shout, with Trumpets Blaring. Sing Out your Praises to God, our King. Yes, Sing your Highest Praises to our King, the King of All the Earth! (Ps.47:5-7)
How Great is the Lord! How Much we should Praise Him. He Lives Upon Mount Zion in Jerusalem. What a Glorious Sight!! See Mount Zion Rising North of the City High Above the Plains for All to See; Mount Zion, Joy of All the Earth, the Residence of the Great King. (Ps.48:1,2)
How we Long for those Days, Your Majesty! Come Soon and Set Up Thy Kingdom, and be Exalted in our Praise Forevermore!
Amen, Kitty.
I love the translation you're using.
His word rejoices my heart.

Jehovah Himself is Caring for you. He is your Defender, and Protects you Day and Night. He Keeps you from All Evil, and Preserves your Life. (Ps.121:5-7)
Polly, you are in my prayers this evening, asking the Lord to extend to you his healing touch.
Psa 141:2 Let my prayer be counted as incense before you, and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice!
Thank you Father for this day in which you've guided and protected us. Lead us all safely home when our work is done. Protect us from the enemy who plans destruction. Reveal works of darkness. Turn the hearts of your people to follow you closely and let the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ come to as many as answer your call. Make our path plain, though it is narrow.
Psa 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts!
Psa 139:24 And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!
I will tell of your marvelous works. They are too many to be numbered! You are always with us and will never leave us or forsake us. Whether I tend to mundane duties, or some new difficulty, nothing is too hard for you, and you knew about this trial before it came. You saw how it would work to my good. You are Faithful.
Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me,
Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on my right,
Christ on my left, Christ in breadth, Christ in length,
Christ in height, Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of every man who speaks of me,
Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in every ear that hears me.
Salvation is of the Lord.
Salvation is of Christ. May Thy Salvation,
O Lord, be ever with us.

God Leads us Along
In shady, green pastures, so rich and so sweet,
God leads His dear children along;
Where the waters cool flow bathes the weary ones feet,
God leads His dear children along.
Refrain
Some through the waters, some through the flood,
Some through the fire, but all through the blood;
Some through great sorrow, but God gives a song,
In the night season and all the day long.
Sometimes on the mount where the sun shines so bright,
God leads His dear children along;
Sometimes in the valley, in darkest of night,
God leads His dear children along.
Refrain
Though sorrows befall us and evils oppose,
God leads His dear children along;
Through grace we can conquer, defeat all our foes,
God leads His dear children along.
Refrain
Away from the mire, and away from the clay,
God leads His dear children along;
Away up in glory, eternitys day,
God leads His dear children along.
Refrain
I need prayer for my health. Thanks!
Num 6:24 The LORD bless you and protect you;
Num 6:25 the LORD make His face shine on you, and be gracious to you;
Num 6:26 the LORD look with favor on you and give you peace.
I ask you Lord Jesus, to look upon Lady and touch her and let her know your eye is upon her to bring her to healing and wellness. Help her in all her need.
In your Name we ask for your Merciful Kindness.

Evening prayer bump!
(a special thanks to you, bperiwinkle7, for posting so faithfully while I was out! God bless you!)
Evening Prayer
Lord,
this day is winding to a close,
but let me not sleep
without thinking
of how you touched my life today,
of those who asked for prayer,
of those I know who need it,
of what I did, and how well I did it,
of where I failed.
But most of all,
let me spend some quiet time with you,
a brief moment connected
before I drift off into unconsciousnes,
still trusting
that you will keep my sleeping soul
safe in the palm of your hand.
Thank you Lord,
for being you,
this and every day.
Amen.
My prayers have been sent up with the others that whatever is hurting you is healed and you are comforted. Get well!
