Yeah, I know. Another vanity. But I'm wondering...any chance he might flip?
Or people screaming in ALL CAPS, and GIANT FONTS!
Pretty annoying.
When is the last time a senator switched his party affiliaton to become part of the MINORITY party?
Lieberman....should be spelled Liberal!
He'll flip back to the total liberal that he's always been. Just because he's hawkish on the middle east and Israel doen't mean this zebra has changed his stripes.
I heard Joe this morning and he said he knows that Republicans gave him 37% of the winning vote. He thinks everyone helped him but never said he would be siding with the dems, before the election I heard him say he'd caucus with the dems, but maybe now after the election, who knows?
no. He will use his new authority to come back into the Democrat party with the standing he has been long denied because of his rationality on the war.
There are some people I have heard lately that are actually entertaining the notion that Lieberman could spearhead a national "Independent" 3rd Party movement.
I don't think he's got the temperament for it.
I guess they think this is feasible because he's one of the few " Independents" in recent decades who has gotten elected to a rather high office.(his current one.)
Come to think of it...
Forget a switch.. what would the consequences be if he refused to caucus with anyone? Constitutionally, who does that turn out? Does Cheney get to vote, and force a tie at 50-50, with one abstention (Lieberman)?
