AZ-5 Hayworth - NOT A LOSS YET, NOT AT ALL.
KFYI 550AM | 11-8-06 | Me

Heard on the radio here just now that there are roughly about 100,000 mail-in ballots still to be counted, and roughly 50,000 of those were brought to the polls yesterday. And with the race being this close: Mitchell - 71,077 - 51% Hayworth - 65,122 - 46% and with Hayworth not yet conceeding, its possible we could hold this seat.

The one against Santorum was the name, period. "Bob Casey" works magic in PA, much like "Kenendy" in Mass.Z

Remains to be seen if the son will live up to the father's reputation.

How many other districts have similar cases I wonder. Are mail in ballots always counted last? Prior to the election there was a lot of talk about how the absentee vote was way up. Well if those are counted last couldn't there be a possibility that some of the other races are still alive?

So far the tally is Mitchell 71,077 and JD 65,122 or a difference of about 6,000. It depends on how many absentee ballots are for Maricopa Ccounty. Sounds like a lot to make up, but nothing is impossible.

And I'm one of them. I'm never voting on an Early Ballot again.

The total number of outstanding ballots is around 300,000 and out of those J.D.'s district is said to have 130,000. They should lean heavily for J.D.

Also, the Arizona GOP is sending out emails looking for volunteers to take part in a hand count of these ballots for J.D.

In GA Burns is down to only 900 votes behind. Most still out is from countries that went to him.

Looks like Foley's district is close also. Is there any chance some of these districts need to be looked at again? I really would like to know when the absentee ballots are counted. I heard Steele's campaign say that Md's aren't counted until Thursday.

I still don't know why cnn has not called the Minn Gove race. He is up by about 23,000 votes with 100% in. I know there like absteenes but given the history I belive they will help Tim extend his lead.

can't say I don't blame the voters there. Just a shame for Negron and the Republicans down there.

100,000 mail in ballots in a congressional election? You must have misheard. That's an absurd number.

Hope Hayworth pulls this one out. After what was passed by the folks in AZ then not re-elect Hayworth makes NO sense at all. Except pure out and out cheating....

Too many close races...rat fraud took place.

When I was helping at Kyl's campaign office he stopped by and spoke to the group. According to him about 50% of Republicans had requested absentee ballots and that's who we were calling from the phonebanks that day since very few had as yet been returned.
