Get a sleep please! That could help.

Um, why is this a good thing? His vote was important for committee assignments.

Yep, I refuse to be depressed by any of these results. Maybe the R's get a little of what they deserve for not fighting hard enough. Having the D's in control makes for good talk radio. This will be two fun years of having Pelosi out front spewing her dopey ideology.

Oh sure....thank God he lost. A win would have ment we kept control of the Senate which we will now lose. I don't share your glee with the new Senate Majority leader Harry Reid. No wonder we lost tonight with this attitude.

I would have preferred he won at this point, unless it would have been 50/50 with him winning. He would have then just switched parties in a year or so.

IDIOT ... IF we had Chafee, at least we'd get to organize the Senate and keep Kennedy out of the committee head chair.

What you fail to see is that *STAFF* write legislation .. and we are just handing over the writing of legislation to *LIBERALS* - completely and 100%.

BE VERY AFRAID.

I'm not sure that, had he won, I would have wanted our majority to depend on how much loyalty Linc Chafee felt to the GOP caucus, because I'm not really sure he felt that much. So to that extent, I agree.

I'm happy that he lost.
Where Republicans see a problem, conservatives visualize opportunity.
