Well, Webb has an 1800 vote lead with 99.35% of vote counted.
McCaskill just took the lead for the first time in MO, with 3009 of 3746 precincts (none from Kansas City few from St. Louis).
Tester has a 13% lead over Burns in Montana.
If you count Leiberman and Sanders as Dims and those 3 races finish as it looks they will, Dims have both houses.
So the Dims rule.
Yes. I am praying for the Rapture to happen tonight. I am not kidding.
"OK, everybody send Bush a Veto pen."
I'd rather send him a cowboy hat to replace that sombrero he plans to wear when signing scamnesty immigration into law.
We have a veto proof Senate.
We have the White House.
In two years, we will have a good shot at regaining control of the House.
What many Freepers are always complaining about, why we can't get things done is actually what makes this nation great, it is very difficult to make radical changes in it.
What a misnomer you go by!
Republicans will win Montana, Missouri and Virginia. Virginia isn't counting absentee ballots until Thursday. Tester's strongholds are in 100% in Montana. And St. Louis City is in 96% or something like that. Chill out!
Pres. Bush thinks veto is a mafia hit man.
Its two years until the next election.
The political pendulum is always swinging.
It is ineveitable it will swing to the left sometimes.
But we can do our best to keep those swings as short as possible.
The fight is lifelong.
How we recover from events like this is everything.
They want us to quit.
WE WONT. Ever.
Better days are ahead. We gotta earn every one of 'em.
Our character will be tested. Our resolve.
Whats new? Always the way right?
Now lets take them on together.
"It ain't over till it's over."
And with that I give up and go to bed!
Thank You, I needed that.
Well folks..it's the Harry and Nancy show....
2 years of Dimbulb Harry and San Fran Gran should cure what ails the GOP. It's gonna be a freak show in D.C. the likes of which we have never seen. AMerican idiot sheeple get the govt they deserve....problem is we also get the govt they deserve too. The blogs and Talk Radio will have a field day non stop. Hold your noses and wallets too.
Thanks for the info. Does this mean that, for instance, in order to elect Pelosi as speaker, one or both of the Independents must also vote for her? In situations where a Democratic majority is required, must each individual situation/vote obtain the vote of one of the Independents?
I mean we have a cloture proof Senate.
They do not have the 60 votes to shut down our filibusters.
A pedophile-protector and probable homosexual just won the Ohio governorship too. Also a socialist and tax raiser.
Oh and Kansas City might decide to go Republican?
McCaskill is declaring victory right now on FoxNews????
I'm an idiot -- and up way too late. Obviously the senators aren't going to be voting for the speaker of the House......but on the same wavelength, would the votes of the independents be required in the Senate -- or does anything in the Senate require a party majority?
Even if he does, what he really needs is a pair.
