Well, Webb has an 1800 vote lead with 99.35% of vote counted.
McCaskill just took the lead for the first time in MO, with 3009 of 3746 precincts (none from Kansas City few from St. Louis).
Tester has a 13% lead over Burns in Montana.
If you count Leiberman and Sanders as Dims and those 3 races finish as it looks they will, Dims have both houses.
He has veto pen?
Wow! Who knew?
Maybe if he had used it some in the last few years we wouldn't about to be bowled over by Socialism.
See my post about Ronnie. I agree with you.
Thanks for the info. I needed that. Talent hasn't conceded has he?
Lots of celebratory gunfire in the the capitols throughout the Middle East tonight. They are partying harder than the 'RATS. North Korea is going bonkers as is Hugo Chavez and his boys. Congratulations Amerika!!!!!!
Yes, it says "Vicente loves me" on it in cute little pink and purple letters.
Neither Talent nor Allen have conceded.
Folks, don't forget about the ACORN shit that occured in Kansas City. If this happened here, then imagine what they could have done in St. Louis. The "multiple graveyard" vote (at least temporarily) is alive and well.
He doesn't have one, he thinks it wouldn't be nice.
Actually, though the latest from MT shows Burns closing...
I might be wrong for the 4th time today, first I thought the Rs would hold both houses, then that they'd hold the Senate, then that they'd lose both...
Now old Conrad Burns might pull it out?
What about Burns? I read something about many votes having to be hand counted.
Oh, and don't forget about the "Fairness Doctrine" legislation which will end all conservative talk radio and all conservative websites, including Free Republic. You all know that this is coming.
It's too early to call Montana. One county's computers failed, they just said on Fox, and they will need hand counts there.
OK, everybody send Bush a Veto pen.
Twelve straight years of being the majority in both houses and we've never even tried to take control from the democrats. Now after listening to them bitch incessantly about the lack of bi-partisanship, we're going to back to the days of Republicans being locked out of committee meetings. How many dems will be reaching across the aisle now?
Instead of being tough, we've been weak sisters and boy are we going to pay for that now.
Welcome to "Twilight In America".
The computers broke down in the Flathead Valley (Kalispell, White Fish etc) so they have to count those by hand...
I am completely ignorant on this point, probably because it's never come up before. If we have 49 Republican Senators, and 49 Democratic Senators, and 2 Independent Senators (Sanders, Lieberman), how do the Democrats have a "majority." If I understand correctly, it is the "majority" party which can then name their members to specific offices, etc. Does a "majority" require 50 Senators. If not, isn't this kind of a mess?
We'll be back to the old alt.whitehouse days when everything and everyone in gov't was against us, and the Clinton body count pile up high.
I look for another AWB ban, the Fairness Doctrine, CFR control of the internet, CCW laws revocation and high taxes.
I suspect we'll look back upon the last few years as "the good ol' days."
I wonder why God allowed this to happen. Do we need to learn certain things from this? Or is it that God is withdrawing His grace and protection from America because we have ignored His ways?
He often allowed foreign, hostile tribes to conquer Israel because they turned their backs on Him.
We have allowed abortion, homosexuality, pornography, adultery and the breakup of our families to prevail, even in Christian households.
I feel so glum, and down...does anyone see any hope for Christains and conservatives in the years to come?
