No idea... NBC has called

PA with 0% reporting (less than 1000 votes counted)
NJ with 1% reporting (and Kean a lead)
MD with 1% reporting (and a 1,000 vote lead by Steele)
MD Gov with 1% reporting (and 1000+ vote lead by Erlich)
and now Chaffee loss with 1% reporting there.

Olbermen admited that they use a "complex formula" that uses exit polls as a component to call the races.

Their 'exit' poll for PA for example shoed 70/30 for casey... thats how they called it with a total of 900 votes cast at 8:22pm EST (polls closed at 8pm)

It doesn't matter the location of the polls... you must not remember the Carter House sweep... or even the early 2000 FL call. We may very well lose every single one of these races but it is still wrong to call them without any tabulation of VOTES!

Because they have dead air to fill and are desperate to influence voters even on election day.

Fear not, the Dems will control the Congress at the end of the day. The GOP revolution is over, a unified gov't squandered. Looks like Bush will have done as much for the GOP as Clinton did for the Rats, that is caused them to wander the wilderness.

Will Bush find his balls and veto pen now? It's all over but the shouting, look to 2008. And, more importantly, PRAY for our troops in Iraq and PRAY for the freedom loving Iraqi people who will be left high-and-dry because of an shameful, wussified American electorate.

ABC News has called Virginia for George Allen.

They have called Rhode Island for the dem Whitehouse...
Chafee looses, according to ABC.

Interestingly enough, they have Steele ahead in Maryland with 53% of the vote.

I want Chafee to lose hard. And I want Steele to win.

That's about all I care about. Purge the party of traitors, and get a black Senator with an actual record.

Don't know, but....

Brown, Sherrod Democratic 195,236 51.03%
DeWine, Mike Republican 187,320 48.96%
Precincts Reporting: 11.17% 382,617

Race tightening quickly.

I thought the lamestream media learned their lesson last time they made fools of themselves. No wonder no one trusts them anymore. 1% reporting in some cases and the race called. What a bunch of BS.

OK... MSNBC just admitted they are relying on the AP for all of the vote counts and projections.

This is also "too close to call" accoding to the people that called MD for Cardin with 1% reporting and a 1,000 vote lead for Steele...

Does anyone know if they can count the votes before the polls close (to get a headstart on counting?)

I really think they do this for ratings. They call a race wildly one way well before the votes are tallied only to express feigned shock when things begin to tighten up.

Keep em watching

Allen up by 25k votes, with 89% reporting and thats "still to close to call"

Let not forget PA was called with less than 1000 TOTAL votes counted (0% reporting) 20min after the polls closed.

Make that 30k lead with 91% in... of course good ole MSNBC reporting that "democratic sources are telling me northern virginia is not in yet, so don't pay attention to those numbers"

And Corker up by 60k+ votes with 58% in, but that is "too close to call"

Unreal...

That's what I want to know!

FNC said that they weren't going to do this, but they are and I'm really angry about it.
