We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Today is it. Make the DemoncRATS crawl back in their hole.
Vote. People died so you can have this right; exercise the franchise that is your birthright.
And, above all, if you do not vote, don't get angry when I tell you to shut up if you didn't vote. You don't vote, you accept the outcome. If you want to whine, you have to express your opinion at the ballot box.
Other things I don't want to hear:
** My vote wasn't counted--how do you know, it's a secret ballot.
** My vote was counted incorrectly--how do you know, it's a secret ballot.
** My vote was wrong because my ballot was handled incorrectly--how do you know, it was a secret ballot.
** I want a receipt that shows how I voted--how can you tie it back to your ballot, it was a secret ballot.
So...
Let's get on with the Great American Experimnet!
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairmam.
Exactly.
Indeed.
Yep and perhaps Leahy in charge of the Judiciary. Stevens is retiring and Bader-Ginsberg is ill. Bush 43 will get blamed for less than conservative justices.
Thanks kay.A Bennett caller was expressing similar thoughts.
Good morning Molly. This is going to be a rough ride.
In addition to keeping Murtha, PA booted Weldon and Santorum.
The American people, as a group, are nearly totally ignorant, poorly informed, and dangerously politically indifferent.
The old media won yesterday.
And the country died a lot more.
There is lots of work to do in the future to make things right. I just am not sure where to start. The citizens are just too ignorant, irrational and reactionary. And, that seems to be a conscious plan of the publik skoolz.
****
By the way, thanks for that great post from Captainsquarter.
Implications abound nationwide and personally .
Notice..not one swear word amongst us even though we may be mumbling a few under our breath.
Good for us.
I refuse to let the sounds of pundits and journalists enter my home. I'm sick of them all and their biased "reporting" and shallow treatment of the issues facing this nation, this world, and humankind as a GAME.Turning off the TV programs w/them on will save my sanity and my electricity bill.
The time gained for reflection will soften my despair, give me some historical perspective, and strengthen me to continue believing that God and His Infinite Wisdom will prevail.
PA is a dump. I am grossed out here. Two big cities of very ignorant, uininformed fools.
Vern Buchanan (FL), who ran for the Katherine Harris seat, is headed for a recount. Went to bed last night thinking he won.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..............
Crist (R) won FL governorship.
I cannot figure out why the Bushes and the RNC did not support Harris. I agree that she should have waited, but I'm not happy with leadership......AT ALL!
President George W. Bush, disappointed at the Democrats' seizure of the House of Representatives, will hold a news conference on Wednesday to urge his opponents to work with him, the White House said. The news conference was set for 1 p.m. EST (1800 GMT) in the White House East Room.
"He'll start by congratulating the winners and extend a hand for bipartisan cooperation to work on the issues facing our country. The elections are over but the issues still remain," said White House counselor Dan Bartlett.
White House spokesman Tony Snow said the outcome of the elections, in which Democrats were projected to win control of the House and pick up several Senate seats, was "not what we would've hoped."
"But it also gets us to a point: Democrats have spent a lot of time complaining about what the president has done. This is an opportunity for them to kind of stand up," Snow said.
I submit the democrats do intend to stand up. And try their best to run this country and freedom straight into the ground.
I knew about Santorum, but not Welden.
Bloodbath for Pubs last night...
Precisely the reason democrats will try to do away with the electoral college... the big city votes can carry the day.
Also JD Hayworth in Arizona.
Dangerous times ahead.
#@$%*@#@*!!
:^D
Son of a gun really lost a lot of weight, didn't he?
It's the only way she can win.
