DOUGLAS A trick-or-treater in Douglas got a little more than he expected in his bag when he found a marijuana cigarette mixed in with his Milk Duds and Hersheys Kisses.
The boy was looking though his bag when he found the strange looking item wrapped in white paper. The boy told an adult about it and the adult called the Douglas police, said Marcus Gonzales, the public information officer for the Douglas Police Department. Police arrived to the area of Seventh Street and G Avenue.
Since the boy had not been out for very long, officers were able to narrow down the suspected household to the 500 block of Fifth Street, Gonzales said.
The police spoke with the residents of a house that was pointed out by the child, Gonzales said. But the residents denied the allegations.
Police were unable to determine that these residents were responsible for putting the marijuana cigarette into the boys bag. The investigation continues. If anyone has information on this incident, call police at 364-8422.
Will the cops now bust down the door and shoot the dogs because of this tip?
Kinda makes ya wonder if Charlie Brown was really depressed when somebody gave him a 'rock'.
Lol! Sorry, it's hard for me to get "worked up" about this one--it's too funny. If it were my kid, I would've told him to hand it over and I'd go in the back yard and smoke it.
/flame away. BTW, I don't have kids so I'd never happen and I'd never inhale anyhow :)
Not in Douglas.
My thoughts exactly. Geez, just throw it down the commode and move on. But wait...then the SWAT team wouldn't have anything to do.
I'm sure that every family in the 500 block of Fifth Street already knows who the dopeheads are.
When I was a kid I thought I was lucky when I got a Snickers Bar!
