I was searching for the singles thread and just about to post anything on my own just to get things going when I saw the "new posts to you" notice. I was afraid that you'd fallen into a hole or something.

I can imagine that it's tough giving up something like this, but the bright side is that you're leaving voluntarily. I used to have a website on Geocities. I had well over 100,000 words of my own political commentary. In late June of 2004, the site just disappeared. Yahoo had bought Geocities, and Yahoo claimed that I broke some terms of service. They would never tell me what I did, and I could never reclaim my URL. After putting so much effort into building an audience, I was crushed. I thought about trying to resurrect the site, but I decided against it. Getting a good site would be expensive, and a less good site would be vulnerable to being deleted again. I've also refused to use Yahoo since that time. I hate Yahoo and hope Yahoo makes a mistake and goes bankrupt.

Aw...sorry to hear that, Bill. I tell ya, at this point, I'd be equally crushed if Photobucket were to completely crash and all the archives of my toons were to vanish!
