Detroit's pitching staff is pretty solid at pitching and pretty terrible at everything else

Understatement of the Day Award ... (can't believe what I've been watching)

Zumaya's throw to third in Game Three was just as ugly, and costly.

Maybe Detroit will wake up their bats tonight. Oh well, I'm a fair weather fan anyway...

Wasted opportunity by the Cards. 30+ pitches and bases loaded and no run. Give Verlander credit.

Just saw on the web that Joe Niekro died today. Age 61. Ex Astro, brother of Phil.

Hey, fellow Red Sox fan! Wait 'til next year! :o)

Eckstein again! What is Jim Leyland thinking... with this Verlander rookie? I've never seen a pitcher so nervous during a World Series game...

If the Tigers prevail, Casey is making a case for MVP.

And the Pirates, in their infinite wisdom, let him go. His bobble-head give-away day was his last game here.

Go Tigers!!! (Leyland fanz here.)

Geesh... listening to Joe Buck and McCarver in this post-season sure makes me long for RemDawg and Don Orsillo... :-(
