Oh yeah, you were the uninsured back patient who's condition didn't respond to treatment (which is not unusual) and then blamed the doc who didn't want to continue a protocol that wasn't working. Right?

My tirade is because people are not understanding that this nonsense happens all the time. This is the first time I have seen it done with smoking, but it is not surprising.
They do indeed screw with your head, and they do it a lot, because they are in a position to do so, and armed with all sorts of personal data on the patient because of the nature of their job.
I am in opposition to this data and ability to be used in a unauthorized fashion for any reason. Not just smoking.....
I think your disgust with smokers is blinding you to the rest, but that's OK. It is a common problem around here.
If anything, This thread has served as a warning to be aware of this.
