"The cars barely stopped without locking the brakes and the slalom made me very thankful for today's cars."
I bought a 1966 Mustang a couple weeks ago. Manual drums all the way around. I can't believe people used to drive those death traps. :)

You knew when the French got involved with Nissan it was a going to become a progressively worse automobile. That's like Peugeot designing Mercedes...or maybe Chrysler.

Didn't Chrysler once own a controlling interest in Talbot?

It happened before that - when Nissan started assembling their vehicles in Spain!

You forgot your /sarc tag. These cars had to hold the all-time record for highest depreciation rate three years from new.

There is a picture of my Vette at the bottom of my profile page. I totalled it several years ago, my wife never lets me forget it everytime she spots one on the road. "You used to have a Corvette." :o)

The Pontiac Fiero.....this was a car that was a good idea. But the engine was hottter than a Nuke reactor. I pulled the dipstick out of one and it fell on my finger. I had a perfect imprint of it burned into my index finger.
Also...any 80 era GM made Diesel. These were oil burners that couldnt get out of thier own way. I didnt know anyone who liked them.
