Sweetest Day Weekend

Hello, I'm Nowhere Man, host for this weekend's Singles Freeper Thread. This weekend will feature "Sweetest Day." I figure I would use this opportunity for us to talk about our first love, our sweetest love, or whatever is appropriate. As you can see, I'm ready to taxi and takeoff, so as I shove the throttles forward and get the turboprops running, we are ready to go!

Many of us here, although single, have successfully found another to share their lives with with the hopes of making it a lifelong commitment. Even in today's turbulent world, it is quite possible. However, there are many of us who have not had the experience or much experience (including yours truly) on getting to this goal. I figure, I would devote this thread to "Sweetest Day" along with stories of how one has met their sweetest, a favorite story with their sweetests or perhaps ideas on how to go about getting their sweetests. As Ross Perot said, "I'm all ears," and I know I'm not the only one. One thing though, no sour grapes or "wizzing" in the pool here, at least keep it to the minimum. I'd like to keep the horror stories down, maybe we can do that another time, but I want to reinforce positive ideas, not negative ones.

So did I, and still do, although I might get to go to a football game tomorrow. That will be a nice break from all the unpleasantness I've had to deal with lately.

Thanks. BTw, I'm glad I still have that pic. I lost almost all my airshow pics, some Pansy pics and Greystone pics when my computer crashed after a defrag. Windows 98 lost the partition on the 200 gig HD so I had to reinstall everything. I did upgrade to Windows 2000 though. I did manage to recover a few of my pics though, one pic I was interested in was Pansy meowing, it is so cute. I only have a cropped version of it left but the resolution and detail is the same. Thank God for Photobucket. I only have pitiful few left but at least I have some. I don't care for the airshow pics really as long as I have those few of Greystone and Pansy. Mt buddy's computer also did the same thing on him as well as I still need to help out my father on his but I haven't gotten around to helping them too much since I've been busy getting this thing into shape. I'm glad I was able to have it patched up enough to limp along as I host the thread but if I had to, I have my laptop as backup.

Come to think of it, I still have the better Blue Angel pics in my camera so all is not lost.

I have a special someone who though we are no longer a couple in the traditional sense of the meaning is still my dearest friend and one I know when the chips are down I can turn to for support.
