I couldn't believe Beltran was just looking at that close pitch with two strikes on him. He has done that before. I was rooting for the Mets....a sad loss.
Still looking forward to the series.

It will be fun watching Leyland and LaRussa go at it, two of the best. And Leyland got this far with a bunch of bums. Great managing job.
Long live the curse of the Hildabeast.

Hillary will be jumping out with a Cardinals hat on this week. She's got Detroit in the bag already because of all the unions. She'll be needing those Cardinal fans in 2008. She's ALWAYS been a Cardinals fan donja know.

Congrats Cardinals.
Now go beat those Tigers and get some respect back for the NL.

A tip of the hat to both teams for a fine series.
Go Cardinals!

I read somewhere how some people thought that Joe Buck was so for the Cardinals.
I'll just say that when teams from NY play, the announcers are always for them.

I was kind of hoping that the Mets would get to the world series, just so Yankees fans would continue to suffer.
