Cal scores TD... gets 2 point conversion now up 24-17 , 1:52 left
Nope.
With the way Cal is playing today, they are the last best hope for a USC loss I'm afraid....
woohooo :)
Why doesn't the media ever talk about how pathetic the teams are that ND struggles against?
It puts me in the awful position of having to root for ND against USC.
tell me about it....
BS. The clock stops on a 1st down, then starts again when the ref winds his arm. However, when the runner/reciever goes out of bounds, the clock stops until the ball is snapped. UCLA received the kick, ran out of bounds, clock stopped at :17, and then on 1st down the Notre Dame clock operator started the clock before the snap. Didn't make a difference in the outcome of the game, but it was a mistake, and an inexcusable one at that. I'm fed up with home clock operators.
Now its BC's turn to choke against FSU.
The kid should have taken the touchback anyway.
I'm telling you it's different on kickoffs than on regular plays.
I don't think that will happen.
Hope not.
Hahahaha!!! Not over yet, but it's looking a little brighter for BC.
Don't curse it!
And I'm telling you that you are confused. The change this year is that on a kickoff once the runner is down and the ref resets the ball the clock starts, instead of traditionally not starting until the snap. However if the runner goes out of bounds, the clock still doesn't start until the snap, just like with any play where the runner goes out of bounds. Out of bounds or opposing penalty is the only way to stop the clock until the snap, and that doesn't change to a special situation on the kickoff.
What the Hail Mary, Washington scores a TD on the rebound with no time remaining to take Cal to overtime, at Cal.
Washington ties it up- at 24, going to OT
The clock started in the same situation in the FSU/BC game, so it would appear that Mike is correct.
It's over...
Every team has a chance against FSU with Weatherford as starting QB.
