Week Seven brought another major upset in the Big Ten and the SEC. Iowa lost to Indiana; Vanderbilt beat Georgia snapping a 53 game losing streak to ranked teams. While this season has been kind of odd in that here have not been very many major upsets, the past two weeks have provided their fair share. The Auburn Florida game lived up to the hype and went down to the last minute with Auburn winning the game. It was not without controversy either, which is another long running story this year. This week features two games that should get top billing. Texas travels to face Nebraska while Clemson hosts Georgia Tech in a battle for ACC supremacy.

(12) Clemson (-7.5) at (13) Georgia Tech
Georgia Tech has the best defense in the ACC. They shut down Notre Dame and have been dominant in each of their other games. Clemson has a chance to really take control of the ACC with a win. Clemson will win this game, but it will be closer than a Touchdown.

Texas A&M comes in after a big win for them against Missouri. The line indicates that people arent buying it quite yet. Im a believer.
Texas A&M 32 Oklahoma St. 25
Record for the year
I'll skip the sob story and just say that if I pick a game one way, you have a better than even chance of being right if you pick it the other way.
117-28 Straight UP
77-64-4 Against the Spread
If its "patsey" then why were so many "experts" telling us they were overrated at #1, that they's lose at Texas and they's lose at Iowa. I've 2 words for ya.....Go Purdue!!!! (My brother in law is a professor there)
Well... Ohio State sure looks better than what i was was giving them credit for, even though it is Indiana(Who isn't ranked) Ohio's defense plays better than what I was giving them credit for, good job.
Troy Smith just cinched the Heisman with his performance today, IMO. He did it both running and passing. Go Bucks!
I'd rather see WR Calvin Johnson from Georgia Tech win it over him.
The Heisman isn't an award for who will do better in the pros.
It's for the best college player.
That's Troy Smith and there's little doubt.
Damn that fumble!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was a dang good game though. Good job Texas.
The BSU/Idaho game will be played in Moscow for only the second time this millenium. Which doens't make any sense, considering that Idaho plays in such plush facilities:
Nice place for a game...if you're Northern Iowa.
Iowa's hanging tough with Michigan
0-3 Michigan with 7 minutes left in the half.
UW 10, CAL 0 :44 2nd qtr
Iowa is hanging tough, down only 0-3 at the half. Michigan has played ok but has not capitalized on several opportunities. Michigan will not beat Ohio State unless they play much better than this. Michigan needs to get fired up in the locker room and come out for the second half with much more intensity.
That looks like an arena league stadium :)
yeah that game was significantly closer than I expected.
ummm
Calvin Johnson isn't on Ohio State....
First off, congrats to Michigan State for NOT laying down and coming all the back from a 35 point deficit to win a game.
UPSET ALERTS:
Alabama 6
Tennessee 3 at the half
UCLA 14
ND 10 in the 3rd quarter
Washington 10
Cal 3 at the half
Early on in the game:
Idaho 7
Boise St 0
I agree. I think Wisconsin is an excellent team - they should at least be ranked in the top 15 at this point. I would expect your team to run the table and finish 11-1 (unfortunately for my Lions). It's very likely that three Big Ten teams finish in the Top 10 this year.
That fumble would be my fault - every team I cheer for this year loses..... who wants to rent me out?
Listening to the UCLA vs. ND game and it seems like a slow-going one. Still 14 to 10, UCLA.
With those two defenses, I think the game's outcome will depend upon one play. Either a big turnover, a special teams play, etc will determine the winner. Other than that I see it as an evenly matched game.
