She was declared dead twice, remember? Then her body was taken back to the Malibu address and she was found again. Bobby Kennedy and Peter Lawford had to fly down from Gilroy, where they were staying with Robert Bates at his ranch. After they performed their dirty deed, they flew back and attended St. Mary's there on Sunday morning.

I, too, tend to believe that she was murdered, but the whole thing about the crazy guy pretending to be a different crazier guy just makes it all seem ludicrous. The mob had her whacked? Did "the Guy" ever read the journal? What was in it? Did he make any copies of it? Or perhaps tear out a page or two and hide it somewhere? Nope. No evidence at all. Just rumors and second- and third-hand stories. It's only to try to sell a book. I'm not buying.
