London, Oct. 12: Women who are planning to undergo a breast enhancement surgery should think twice before going ahead with it, for a new survey conducted in the UK has found that men prefer women more attractive when natural.
The poll for More magazine found that 85 percent of men aged 18 to 34 said that they hated plastic surgery and found it a "complete turn-off" in women.
The survey, which polled 1,600 men across the UK, found that a further 15 percent claimed that they wouldn't even notice women's cosmetic surgery.
"Women would be better off spending their money on new dress and shoes rather than fake breasts," Ananova.com quoted a spokeswoman for More magazine, as saying.
"They look at false cleavages but it is clear that it is a big turn off both sexually and in terms of forming a relationship. It seems as though women may have misjudged a lot of blokes," she added. (ANI)
If it were true, why aren't there blondes dying their hair dark instead of brunnettes dying their hair blonde?
Simply because they keep buying the wrong kind.
1. I'm a leg man.
2. Married for over 20 years. Still a leg man.
3. Men are finally getting their own version of this with viagra, enzyte, cialis,...
4. I have yet to hear a man say "Why can't a woman appreciate me for who I *am*?" instead of using these products; and I have yet to hear a woman complain that her man has been artificially enhanced.
Cheers!
What did the woman sing as she was leaving the breast implant office?
"Thanks...for the 'mammories' "
Cheers!
Hey, I just pinged because of all the comments on the thread...8^)
I really shouldn't be talking for two reasons:
a.) I'm just shy of 21.
b.) Never dated.
Having said that...
I suppose my general philosophies would be:
a.) that we play the game of life in the uniforms God gave us. So why should we feel like we have to radically modify it?
b.) If sexual attraction is created by God and is to be a reflection of God, then wouldn't using pills or getting plastic surgery be using that attraction for a selfish end, instead of a holy means?
(FYI--in the process of reading up on Pope John Paul II's Theology of the Body...) 8^)
LOL
Mike--what you say?
That's just bait.
Agree with the surgery (of that kind), not necessarily with th e pills.
Often, erectile dysfunction ("ED") is a result of general poor blood flow and is a clinical marker for diabetes or heart disease within say 6 months...
Cheers!
Me? I got no beef if there's truly an issue. But honestly, are all these men who are using pills have issues? 8^)
Yes. Sorry, my mouse farted. I appreciate your good humor!
Now, that sounds wonderful. But once you say cream and steak, I'm reaching for the green peppercorns. With Irish Whiskey? Oh, my!
No, my dear, you didn't ignore her comment. You loved her. You married her. You love her still.
That---*that*---speaks volumes.
Sometimes we don't need actual experience to know that we missed nothing at all.
Exactly. But isn't that where all this fakery is going? It's treating one's own body like it's a cow being led about for inspection by the meat marketers. So it shouldn't be a surprise that others treat that body as an object that has to meet certain criteria.
Well, Britney Spears and Cameron Diaz, for twosies, just died their blonde hair brunette. It happens.
Yes, what was that joke going around Washington a few years ago: Between botox and Viagra, a woman doesn't know if she's going home with Brad Pitt or Strom Thurmond!
Heaven!
Cheers!
I guess I'm not surprised you wouldn't know what a "self image" is.
Thanks for the recipe.
I'm not so sure about the thread, though... :-p
If this refers to breast augmentation, I agree completely. Real breasts, large or small, are sexy. Fake breasts are never sexy.
I am reminded of a conversation I had with a woman who had had plastic surgery on her nose, then had surgery to correct that surgery. At first I didn't notice that there was anything wrong with her nose, since she was basically quite pretty. Yet she was obsessed with her nose, and spoke of little else. She eventually convinced me that her nose did indeed make her unattractive.
I admit that readily.
I've worked with women, in their 30's, that still wear a training bra because even an A cup is too big and have heard them talk about some men's reaction once the lights go off. For these women, I cant see anything wrong with them buying a small set of boobs. If the surgery is done correctly and they dont upgrade to triple D's, it can make all the difference in the world.
I agree. Real is better than fake, but fake is better than nothing.
Beyond that, the obsession with breast size is a figment of female psychology that is blamed on men, much like the female obsession with weight loss. Women seek to enlarge their breasts and to lose weight, not because it's what men generally want, but because they feel it's what men ought to want. Some women cling to these ideals to the extent that they become angry when confronted with evidence that men don't actually find those ideals attractive.
Before I am accused of "blaming the victims", or even outright misogyny, men are guilty of parallel body-image distortions. Most women would not desire a steroid monster with a painfully large phallus, yet many men strive for unnaturally large muscles, and would jump at penis enlargement surgery, if it existed. They are certain that such improvements would make them irresistible to women.
