Ok Seriously.
I've never been a fan of the guy, but wow did Rogers look sharp tonight. 7 2/3, 0 runs, 8K. He really had something to prove tonight and did he ever.
A-Fraud AKA Mr March, went 0-3 and is batting .125 for the series.
Watching the Yankees lose NEVER GETS OLD!
I don't mind it. Like Torre just said even it had gone seven he doesn't think they could have won with the way Detroit was pitching.
Which reminds me....
THE CURSE OF HILLARY LIVES!!
The postseason is very intense and very taxing. You don't want ugly baseball in the WS because players are toast from two long sets of games.
That's right... I can't decide if the Yankee Curse is the Curse of Hillary, Johnny dEmon or A-Fraud... ;-D
What a great celebration for the Tigers... pretty cool for the players to come back out and spray their fans with champagne!
Detroit needed to wrap this up tonight since Oakland has been resting since yesterday.
I give Hillary more credit since their post season failings didn't begin until her election.
Hillary deserves more credit, I agree. She's barred seven (by my count) New York state professional franchises from championships since she took office: Bills, Mets, Knicks, Giants, Jets, Yankees, Islanders.
That's a potent curse.
Yes, I know, the Mets are still in it this year. I'm just sayin'...
Jets and Giants play in Jersey....
Shows you how powerful she really is.
Hey if New Yorkers are willing to sacrfice their world championships who are we to interfere?
..Sabres,Rangers.....
There IS a God. And even the Orangepersons aren't that good.
I'll trade them 3 years of WS if they voted in a non RINO Republican over Hildabeast
I hope they win it tonight just so tomorrow's NY Post cover is a split shot of the Mets celebrating and the Yankees not.
If this New York post season failure keeps up it just might become a campaign issue at some point.
Last time we see him in pinstripes?
Is his contract up yet?
< /Mariner Fan>
No but I'll bet he and the Boss would like to part ways. The Yankees would have to eat part of his contract but they might be willing to do that at this point.
