Yankees down to their last 27 outs!

Posted on 10/06/2006 9:02:44 PM PDT by ElTiante

Ok Seriously.

I've never been a fan of the guy, but wow did Rogers look sharp tonight. 7 2/3, 0 runs, 8K. He really had something to prove tonight and did he ever.

A-Fraud AKA Mr March, went 0-3 and is batting .125 for the series.

Watching the Yankees lose NEVER GETS OLD!

>>I'd love to see all those weepy Yankee fans.

They did squeeze in one shot of a very worried Brian Cashman ($200 million doesn't buy what it used to). Think Guiliani
was next to him.
Subway Series? think not

No mas! No mas!

Si mas! Si mas! Pile it on!

The Yanks are still the Yanks, and it's only the 6th.

Jeeter's girlfriend came pretty close to hitting into the DP.

I wonder if this is Joe Torres swan song in the Yankee dugout

What uniform will A-Rod wear next year? Will the Boss tolerate him?

He did a fine job this year with starting and middle relief pitching. Losing Sheffield and Matsui hurt them and yet they managed to post the best record in the AL.

I hope they get rid of him because the next guy won't do as well.

The Marlins were a WC team. They play in the same division as the Braves, who practically are given the division on Opening Day (except this year).

And the D-backs narrowly beat the Giants for the division in 2001.

As fun as that is, I love the Tigers winning at home with their loyal fans. It's been a long time!

I gave you 6 innings of no Yankee runs as a present!

8-0...energetic, young, mostly unknown players
beating overpaid old veterans...(well, I take that back;
Rogers is no spring chicken, but...)
