Ok Seriously.
I've never been a fan of the guy, but wow did Rogers look sharp tonight. 7 2/3, 0 runs, 8K. He really had something to prove tonight and did he ever.
A-Fraud AKA Mr March, went 0-3 and is batting .125 for the series.
Watching the Yankees lose NEVER GETS OLD!
You got it.
6-0 NOW!
Hillary is warming up
There is no fear in the Tigers right now. They are having fun.
"...don't forget the Motor City
All we need is music, sweet music
There'll be music everywhere
There'll be people swaying and records playing
Dancing in the streets!"
56 pitches, but the real key is the first pitch strikes-- 60.7% of his pitchers today have been over the plate. The Yanks can't sit back and be patient or they will be down 0-2. So, they swing early and ground out.
This is really fun to watch. It's a shame it's not in NY, I'd love to see all those weepy Yankee fans.
7-0! Damon's got no arm, run right in!
I love the old english "D" but they'd better without the names on the back.
Is he injured or does Damon just not have good arm?
7-0!
No mas! No mas!
Tigers 7
Yankees 0A few of my co-workers in Yankee fans and they were crowing about a sweep after game 1.
Imagine, Yanks losing to a wildcard team. Has that happened before...?
(2004: Yanks lose to Red Sox, wildcard team, blowing a three games to 0 lead)
(2001: weren't the D-backs a wildcard team? I forget)
(2003: were the Marlins a wild card team? Think so!)
should say ARE Yankee fans
Looks like Jesus
Throws like a girl
Angels in 2002 were the wild card team
So weren't the Marlins
Looks like Jesus
Acts like Judas
Throws like Mary
That's my favorite holiday!
I stand corrected
He's got 40 pitches through 5.
