As much as I like BSG, I've always had to ignore the anti-Christian comparisons to the Cylons. Now I've gotta ignore the Anti-American theme.
I don't see it that way.. It look like Chief is questioning Tighs tatic.. Also I don't see BSG as anti-Christian....
Battlestar has become blinding anti Christian anti Bush propaganda.
Suicide bombers are understandable.
American soldiers are evil.
Police trying to stop terrorism are traitors.
Pro life is monstrous evil.
Hollywood is getting desperate.

After seeing how Galactica is now a Pali-wood production, I think I'll be foregoing this boatload of Pali-cr@p.
I don't think V for Vendetta was as clearly partisan.
Its roots in British politics may block it some.
It was primarily directed against Bush in its adaptation.
BSG has clearly taken a turn toward anti Bush propaganda.
Actually, I see it as the exaact opposite.....
The religion of "Peace" has arrived, and taken over for "Our Own Good"....
And the good guys still have a few tricks up thier sleeves...

Try to see it ANOTHER WAY.....
The people, swayed by PROPOGANDA of false hopes, voted OUT the conservative, and voted IN the hedonistic liberal.
After the hedonistic liberals rule, things fell apart to such a point that the ":Religion of Peace", simply strolled in and took over, because we weren't watching our backs.....
If you ignore the threats that are out there, they WILL eventually arrive at your front doior....
I am totally in favor of resistant interpretations and trying to read this thing backwards-- but we ought not kid our selves. The producers and writers of this show despise Bush, Christianity, the war in Iraq.
I hope we can poach bogus interpretations to usurp their interpretations.
I haven't heard Bush or Iraq mentioned yet.
And THAT is the mark of excellent writing....
It can be seen both ways....
