Week Six College Football
Week Five was a fun week if you were a Buckeye fan. The weekend started out with Auburn getting a severe test at South Carolina in the super tough SEC. Ohio State went to Iowa and dismantled the Hawkeyes. USC was pushed by Washington State and Florida received a good push by Alabama. This week features the Red River Shootout between Texas and Oklahoma and another great match up in the SEC when LSU visits Florida in the Swamp.
As always, all rankings are from the ESPN.com Scoreboard page. The betting lines (used sorely for the basis of predictions) are from Yahoo.com. I will list any games of interest (FReepmail me if you want your team included and I will include them from here on out) and any other games listed in my Yahoo league. I have a new feature this week. In each game that I do not have any confidence, or any game that I think a team could have an unexpected struggle, I will post a picture of a landmine for illustration.

FSU and Miami are out of the Top 25 for the first time in 24 years. Looks like the AP voters weren't impressed with USC's win either - they put Florida above them at Number 2.
I would have too....in fact I'd put Michigan ahead of them too.
Two California schmucks have WVU #1 as if they have done something more spectacular than OSU's win at Texas, vs PSU and at Iowa... Ugh.
I would have myself. I also would have put Tennessee higher. They looked very, very good against Georgia last night.
yeah but they also gave up 33 points to that horrible Georgia offense.
I don't think any of the SEC teams, in a one game situation, could beat Ohio State OR Michigan.
In fact, the only team out there that would really worry me, being an Ohio State fan and excluding Michigan for the moment, is Cal.
Cal looks freakin awesome.
I can't figure that one out either.
Hey ...whats this on ESPN? NIU against Miami(Ohio).
Sunday night college football.
yep
I had no idea it was on...
I should ping the list :)
But hes not as of yet! Does have a TD run though.
yep
I think he's going to be in the NFL. Just a guess, but he will make a good 3rd down back.
He will get a shot but he is probably a low rounder.
yeah probably...
I told everyone in week one that he was worth watching.
Man this game is like watching a HS game, but yeah Wolfe has some motors in his legs those things move quick.
well MIami of Ohio would probably lose to a few High school teams :)
I can't even watch it really, although I am flipping back to it from the NFL game....
Damn right. SC and cal have gone different directions this season, Cal has gotten better since getting wooped by Tennessee, and USC is not the team that 4-0 indicates them to be. They are lucky to be 4-0.
With Cal's schedule from now until they face SC, I do not see anyone stopping them. I just hope SC improves and gets healthy.
Healthy is the key for USC.
They could really use one of those injured RBs right now.
The view of the visitor at a USC home game...at least my view of that lost two seconds this weekend
yeah....
I would have loved to have seen the play they had drawn up for that final play....
