At least 25 reptiles died and another 50 to 75 fish are fighting to survive after an overnight fire ripped through a Cambridge pet store that had been spray painted with graffiti that said: "No more exploitation of animals."
Fire officials are still trying to determine how the fire started and if it had been intentionally set. The two-alarm blaze tore through Boston Tropical Fish and Reptile store on Monsignor O'Brien Highway shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday night.
The dead animals included six geckos, five fire belly toads, four king snakes, three boa constrictors, three arrow frogs, two wood turtles and an emperor scorpion.
Firefighters rescued a menagerie of creatures, including five turtles, three blue-tongued skinks, two snakes, two bearded dragons, and two fire belly toads.

Bastards!
AR wacko ping.
These sick freaks need a life.
"Cambridge pet store fire kills at least 25 reptiles"
American abortion mills kill 3,300 humans today and everyday.
I guess they missed that headline.
Sad.
How "Left" of them. "We burned the little animals alive so they wouldn't be exploited." G-d help any of them I see hurting an animal.
No, they need life (as in, in prison). Arson is a serious crime, and if there were people in the store they may have been killed. IMO, kidnapping, arson, and attempted murder should all be punishable by life in prison.
Agreed. These low-lives put two, five-gallon firebombs at the forestry building where I did my undergrad. The building was a block away from numerous student homes, where many of my friends lived, and I had family that worked at the school too.
I agree with you 110%, these kooks do NOT belong on the streets. If I had my way, I'd pair them with sodomite cellmates for life.
ROFL! You hit the nail on the head!!
Agree 1000%
And there were people at risk in that store; the firefighters who extingushed the blaze and rescued the surviving animals.
Absolutely.
Where's Pee-Wee Herman when ya need him?
