No problem, everyone has a life. But it does not make sense to start a thread like this and then disappear. Posting a thread is usually reserved for a news article or something important. If you are going to start what is called a vanity thread, you will catch a lot of grieve from people if you don't stick around. Just posting a reply, there is not as much of an expectation to respond.
But pirates had parrots and that's why the Buccaneers should beat the Vikings in Rush's evnironmetal whacko football picks. :)

I certainly did not use the phrase 'democrat operative' nor did anyone else. This forum is rather busy and we try to limit the posting of articles to real news articles. What you posted is what is referred to as a vanity post, which is kind of frowned upon. An occasional vanity post is fine, but when a newbie does it, it raises suspicion. And you not sticking around to respond raised suspicions even higher. Not the end of the world, but not the best way to introduce yourself. You would be better off responding to other articles to start off with.
