But there are Republicans who are pro-abortion too.

On this site, people will say the parents are left-wing b/c they endorse abortion.

On DU, people will say the parents are right-wing b/c they are racists who don't want a (half)black grandchild.

The way I see it is that we cannot know whether or not these freak parents are "left" or "right." Can't we just agree that they are sickos?

I don't know any more than that about them but I know people who know them and I'm told they aren't radical right. Which really makes me wonder what the underlying story is here.

Yes, you are right, for some of them. There are several different "it is the right winger fault" reason floating around. They are saying the parents are right winger because only right winger would do something like this. That the parents wanted to force an abortion on their child because they didn't want to pay to raise their grandchild. That the parents are some kind of republican plant (see raccoonradio's post above) or the story is a republican plant.
