Yes, you are right, for some of them. There are several different "it is the right winger fault" reason floating around. They are saying the parents are right winger because only right winger would do something like this. That the parents wanted to force an abortion on their child because they didn't want to pay to raise their grandchild. That the parents are some kind of republican plant (see raccoonradio's post above) or the story is a republican plant.

The American Taliban may try to use this to their favor, but it is actually a story that favors the freedom of choice side. These parents trying to force an abortion on their daughter are identical to parents who try to force a birth on their daughters. Forcing a woman into any reproductive choice is what pro-choice people are against. Forcing women to do one thing or another regarding reproduction is the anti-choice stance...
