This situation is a demonstration of the left's hypocrisy writ large.

I don't know what the parents' political leanings are but it is fair to say that there are surely many right-leaning republicans who claim to be pro-life until their daughter gets knocked up by a black man.

In fact, there are probably many on this forum who quietly sympathize with the parents and are hoping for a slap on the wrist --they're just not going to come out and say it.

What a sleezebag of a lawyer ~ this is roughly Guy Fawke's defense ~ that none of the various things he'd done, from taking gunpowder into Parliament, to lighting matches, was a violation of law.

The Brits hanged him anyway for trying to blow up Parliament.

I suspect that when you are in the act of commiting a crime, possessing the "tools of the trade" is probably another count they can use to keep these people in jail for a long time.

Ought to be a capital crime to badger a person into assisting in, or persuading someone else to submit to abortion.
