I don't know what the parents' political leanings are but it is fair to say that there are surely many right-leaning republicans who claim to be pro-life until their daughter gets knocked up by a black man.
In fact, there are probably many on this forum who quietly sympathize with the parents and are hoping for a slap on the wrist --they're just not going to come out and say it.
Those here who remain in fearful silence are also hypocrites.
I totally concur with you on this one. This one probably hits a wee bit too close to home for some, hence they will remain silent.
