OH NO!!!!!
Its The
"I HAVENT GOT THE THREAD DONE"
Thread.
Sigh, yes, dear Abby/Dolly will have to wait yet another week, as a combination of my procrastination, Murphys visit, and normal SNAFUs have contributed.
And since I only have 3 questions there is STILL time for you to submit your to me via FReepMail. And I REALLY am not trying to hog all the threads. ( even though it SURE looks like it )
So for this weekend, in addition to the normal chit chat, lets just call this a Favorite Thread. Post your favorites in life
Graphics,
fav pix of your pets,
Pix of your ex,
Recipes,
Sport Teams
Jokes or
Rants.
In other words.. Anything goes (well within the guidelines of decency & FR guidelines!!!)

TOPICS: Chit/Chat

Yeah, having fun with my new digital camera.
(Technically my Mom's, got it for her birthday, but I'm the only one who's figured out how to use it so far).

The basement's doing better. The cleaning up guys FINALLY came and got the mega super fans out. But we still can't move everything back to where it goes, and we're going to need to get new carpet.

I have done a LOT of mowing this year also due to a lot of rain. BUT in Texas it is usually so dry. The couple years I lived in Houston it seemed always hot & when it did rain the ground was so hard/parched , that the rain washed off & didn't often sink in. Then there wree the underpasses.. people who foolishly drove into them were forced out of their car & pushed it along in the 4 ' of water or so. I have a lot of great memories of Texas

Here the mold & mildew are the continual reminders. I have regular floods, water in basement. I avoid it as much as possible

That is how I felt when I left my husband. The weight of the world seemed lifted. IT took awhile to get rid of some of the baggage but what a relief overall. In a min, I will post a pix of my Toby..

There's still a faint moldy smell in the closet but for the most part we're better. But the torn up carpet and bare cement floor is quite unsightly.

I have several of the Alpine air purification systems going in my house.. I know it helps but I am still aware of the mold, the pets & other things.

How are both of you healing after foot surgery? Been about 3 weeks now?
Kate, how is the residency at the Pentagon going? Has RUMMY invited you to lunch yet?
***wink****
Please fill us in with your impressions.. and did you get to attend the memorial service on 911? how was that.
Taken many pix?
My brother was stationed in Pentagon on a couple occasions. What I recall was the LONG echo-y hallways.

Here is my Toby & two of his playmates. Toby wandered into my life Labor Day Last year. No tags, collar etc. I named him after Toby(gulfcoast6). He is actually Tobias. Josy is Josephine. I have had her since Feb 1 of this year. Another rescue. I take them everwhere with me. I NEVER worry about anyone messing with me or my van.
