In an blockbusting EXCLUSIVE interview on Dateline NBC, correspondent Matt Lauer sat down with Debra Lafave, the 23 year-old teacher who had sex with a 14 year-old boy on several occasions which made national headlines.
For some ungodly reason, NBC decided this was a groundbreaking story that needed to be told to America. I have one question
Why is Debra Lafave on television?
There have been notable people who have earned the right to recognition. Sports heroes, movie stars, business and religious leaders, respected politicians and cultural groundbreakers have all proven worthy of the media attention paid to them. That is why we feel we know Michael Jordan, Jennifer Anniston, Donald Trump, Reverend Billy Graham, John McCain and Simon Cowell. She will be a huge star (on the Left) in a few years, just mark my words. She'll be on her own show and movie.............
Cause every male wishes she had been her teacher.
Umm, a 2.5 billion dollar a year internet porn industry beggs to differ. All she needs is a webcam and a few thousand to set up the website/billing account.
With her PR, she could cash in on this huge.
Under Son of Sam Laws she can't sell her story, but she could lure in a lot of whackos. She might not even have to take her clothes off.
Am I the only one waiting for the explosive media story on the "child molesters teaching our children" akin to those that covered the Catholic church scandal?
The definitive answer.
With this woman's knockout good looks, she could have any man. So why does she pick a kid? Because she has a mental defect.
I don't feel tardy.
She should have been sentenced to marriage with John Mark Karr...........
"Where were these hot-to-trot gorgeous teachers when I was 14?"
When we were 14 I don't think we were so inundated with sex as kids are today. The only things we had were National Geographic, Sears catalogs and Playboy if we found our dads or older brothers.
SUPER TRUE!!
Oh, I don't know ... ratings? Money? Audience share? You must watch nothing but PBS and CSPAN if you have to ask that question.
Twenty-four hour news cycles are hard to fill.
"...time off from house arrest..."
I don't think house arrest per se is a problem. The problem is that it wasn't MY HOUSE!
She's be a good foil for Rosie... on The View.
was it in HD?
Well, at 23, she is not much past being a kid herself.........
