Still fuming at the perfidious treachery of McCain, Graham, and Powell, I am starting this thread early today. Please post your comments, thoughts, and any news stories of interest.

All who contribute to the cause are welcome!

Me too, Jane, Bennett just had a caller from S.C. , and he was none too pleased with his Senator, either.

Plus I'm saddened by Fallaci's death, and concerned over the Pope and the reaction to his speech in Germany this week. He goes forth bravely, and the demons have been stirred...

Thanks for the start.

Dog,hope today is a better one...

I am concerned about the Pope, myself. I have been following his trip to Germany on EWTN and happened to hear a portion of the homily which is causing all of the controversy.

Pope Benedict's analysis of the difference between Christianity and Islam was very astute, and one that could only have been made by a scholar. His gift is is how he presents the information, in a clear and understandable manner which lay people can follow. He is a true teacher.

I continute to keep him in my prayers.

By the way, you would have enjoyed the music at all of the masses and other events. The dedication and blessing of the new organ at the Regensburg cathedral was especially beautiful.

This is a pretty laid back area. It's not likely there will be police protection for McCain. At the very most, he'd have a driver to get him from Point A to Point B. (this is the way all the early Presidential Wannabes operate)

There has been quite a discussion on some of the Iowa Blogs about the Presidential's paying local activists. I haven't personally spoken to any of the ones the bloggers claim are paid, so I don't know if it's factual or not.

Interesting about the paid activists.

Well, I have waited for this surprise guest on Fox and it is Sylvester Stallone, who is making another Rocky movie.

Zzzzzzzzz.

May she rest in peace. Truly one of the brightest minds of our time, and a staunch defender of the WOT.

Thanks, Miss Marple, for starting this thread today!

McLaim, Warmbutt and Goober really know how to set an example, don't they!

Where do you dive, and what do you see there? I'm all ears!

I dive off this coral reef in the South Pacific. I see all sorts of stuff; sailor's eyeballs, star fish, angels, butterflies, clown fish, parrot fish, flutenose, lion fish, cuttlefish, eels, all sorts of coral, a bunch of cucumbers and sponges, trevallies, groupers, sting rays, sharks, dolphins (although I've seen them on the boat, but not in a dive), turtles and more that I can't come up with right now.

BTW, the youngest is speaking with JT right now. Very good.

I'm so sorry to hear she died. She was a brave woman in every respect and wrote frequently about the Islamic threat.

Today my husband and I are going to finish our letter to Pandsey Graham, as my freeper town friend calls him.

Maybe John Kerry would like to say that the administration is cutting and running from Afghanistan to the families who have lost loved ones operating in that theater. Have I mentioned today how much I detest Kerry?

Sen. Sessions on FNC talking about how he is opposed to giving detained terrorists access to classified information. A voice of reason. One of the few.

Thanks for the summary. I get so tired of this - backstabbing, under handedness, running their own agenda, regardless of the damage it does in the long run .

I will do my best to keep Senator Jeff Sessions where he is needed most.

Hi, Jemian. I can well imagine you wouldn't want to lose him as your senator, while we, on the other hand, are stuck with the increasingly disloyal and disgusting Pandsey Graham.

Have fun diving today.

Graham seemed like a good choice during that first election. Oh, what a disappointment he has been!

I am really looking forward to the dive. I haven't gone under in two years.

Good Morning!!

Anyone read the Pope's comments about the Muslims?
There are over 96K Muslims in our country and a Muslim running for Congress (a dem).

Just be careful, Jemian. Glad you're feeling healthy and enjoying your time there.

I hope everyone has read that bagged spinach is being recalled and has caused 50 deaths in the US from e-coli.
