I don't know why I do this, but sometimes when I read news articles on Yahoo, I click the "discussion" link at the bottom to get an idea of who the audience is.
Most of the messages posted in these unmonitored discussion areas are full of hate form both sides to the point of being disturbing.
This post, however, is particularly disturbing considering that this individual is apparently an American:

Even more ominous is the fact that his sentiment is echoed by many on these discussion forums.
This poor slob will never appreciate the sacrifice that many Americans are making on his behalf, all so he could sit on his sorry ass all day and wish for the destruction of his country.
Obviously being born in America does make one an "American"
Almost sounds like Michael Moore or George Galloway.

"Military admits problems in Anbar after leaked report
Jonathan Steele
Thursday September 14, 2006
The most senior US marine commander in Iraq has been forced to downplay a secret intelligence report which asserted that the United States had "lost" Anbar province, the main heartland of Sunni resistance to the American occupation.
The report, parts of which were leaked to the US media at the weekend, painted a dramatic picture of a collapse in US military control. But, without denying the accuracy of the leaks, Major General Richard Zilmer sought on Tuesday to minimise the damage. "
The Freedom Fighters of Iraq, like the Freedom Fighters of Hezbolla, have WON against terrorist forces ! ! !
GOOOOO IRAQ ! ! ! !
Honestly sometimes I wonder if I wasn't happier not really knowing.
America unfortunately is chock full of sleezebags - and they are out of the closet now.
It's sad but, without principles, you're nothing.
This is why I stay off those boards. Most of the people that post on them are scary.
Never been to DU land, and never will.No need to peak out my adrenaline for no reason.Fortunately, there are a lot of good men and women out there who are willing to take up the slack.
