Police and rescue workers survey the scene on New York's Long Island where a car is lodged in the second story of a building, in Coram, N.Y., Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006. The car hit a four-foot dirt hill at high speed and launched into the second story of the apartment building, penetrating the building up to its rear bumper, killing the driver, Suffolk County police said. Something of the sort happened in San Antonio a few years back.
Guy doing 3 digits up US 90 flew off the road, over a fence and plowed through a second-story room in the La Quinta near Lackland AFB.
Luckily, he didn't take out anyone other than himself. Suicide, they say.
