Has Apple Computer's chief executive, Steve Jobs, found a way to connect the PC to the TV?
With an enticing invitation proclaiming "It's Showtime," Jobs last week touched off speculation about how far Apple will go as it takes its next big step into digital video.
On Tuesday, Apple will hold another of Jobs' marketing events in San Francisco to introduce what trade publications and analysts indicate will be his next campaign: an effort to transform the distribution of Hollywood movies as thoroughly as he has revolutionized the recording industry with the iTunes Music Store.
A distribution deal with Disney and sleeker, higher-capacity video iPods are part of the consensus among those who handicap Apple product announcements. But company executives have hinted that Apple has at least one bigger idea on tap.

He already has a wife.
Brad Pitt apparently won't marry Angelina until he does.

Every new pc will be able to be a HD 720p tv/pvr in a matter of 4 years.
I don't think Apple will be able to maintain first to market because of their small user base.
All I need for turning this pc I'm writing this on into a 720p hdtv/pvr is for my cablecompany to remove signal blocking, or buy a ~$1500 piece of hardware from Norway, Austria or Japan to shift the signal.
You can already turn any old PC into a PVR and I would assume(I maybe wrong) that a HGDTV convertor/ready TV would take care of the HDTV issue.
Maybe in Massachusetts or Vermont.
