Evil Dead the Musical will come alive at New World Stages on Monday, October 2 for an unlimited Off-Broadway run. The official opening is set for Wednesday, November 1 at 7:00 PM.
"A 'dis-arm-ingly' riotous musical comedy based on Sam Raimi's 80s cult-classic horror films, Evil Dead the Musical unearths the old familiar story: boy and friends take a weekend getaway at abandoned cabin, boy expects to get lucky, boy unleashes ancient evil spirit, friends turn into Candarian Demons, boy fights until dawn to survive. OK I've only seen your FReepname and have never pinged you before, but you HAVE to be interested in this story.
At least I hope you are with a FReepname like that. :)
I wonder how they are going to do the raped by the forest scene?
Hope it does well enuff that they make a movie!
(Bubba Ho-Tep is a good one also!)

I have never seen it
"The hand was evil, so I lopped it off at the wrist..." Let's hear it for two former Michigan State students.
NOTE -- Are there any "celebrities" from Michigan State who actually graduated? Every time a famous Michigan State student makes the news, it's always as "former student" not "graduate." Sigh.
