hello.. I just "floated" in..
:-)
going to answer pings etc.. how are you doing?
thank you Gretchen. I am a BIG Enya fan but am one of those people who really doesn't listen to words.. and I have heard that song with the 911 memorial many times.. it is just a haunting sound.. very typical of her style. I have most of her CDs..
I LOVE that picture of that pink faced little girl on her Daddy's shoulders! Someone had a HUGH billboard of that picture up in Worcester MA for a couple of years after 9/11.
his work just oozes with "love" IMHO.. How are you tonight Nancy? Did you hear from son?
Suzi, I am not sure(maybe someone here knows for sure) but I think that was taken that first night at a prayer vigil of sorts..
I love that pix also
Those drawings are fantastic! I was particularly struck by the photograph taken as one of the towers fell. I'd never seen any pictures as the walls were tumbling down.
wow hoosierpearl, how are you so "sane" when it seems you are surrounded by such sick people (your hubby obviously excluded)
Sad stories there. People have a chance to love & shine & instead they act like jerks
I have a LOT of those pix.. What strikes me as I look at those, that lives were snuffed out.. at the exact momemnt the pix was taken. Very profound.
You "floated" in?
Sounds wonderful!
Not too bad. School started Tuesday.
Silent_jonny is not only an artist..
he is an OUTSTANDING artist. did you see the pix Snugs posted that he did for her for her birthday .. of VP C , of course!
How much more school do you have for your BS?
Two years, plus summer and WInterim.
I had 10 credits from a previous college not transfer in. So now I'm at 53 credits--three away from junior standing in my college.
If I can take courses during the summer and winter, I can catch up enough to graduate on time (hopefully May 08)
so you are technically a sophomore now?
saw movie the Illusionist tonight.. REALLY liked it. Much better than I thought it would be. The previews/trailers looked very appealing to me. I do like Ed Norton's work & also Paul Giomatti.. they were both excellent in their respective rolls..
yes, floated in..
Oh, Meg, that one is wonderful... good table also .. perfect together!
I'll make a note of that one.... for netflix when it goes to DVD.
Well, I'm in limbo--a good way to describe it is between sophomore and junior.
I possess an associate degree from the UW colleges. So most all my gen-eds are automatically done.
For credit planning and finaid purposes, I technically remain a sophomore. However, I can start taking upper division courses (which require junior standing) next semester, as I'll be above the 56 cr. mark.
However, for other purposes I can consider myself a junior.
Thanks Dolly. That is all devolve's work above. I am more into the animation thing now!
