OJ relied on the old adage that a jury is, as my sister who used to be an investigator for a DA in S. MS. describes it, "twelve people who didn't have the sense enough to get out of jury duty." That, and having the prosecutor daze and confuse the jurors with the DNA evidence, made sure he'd get off.
What a world class jerk.
Heh. My team leader at work was in Jury selection today. We gave him lots of advice on how to get out of it, but he is too consciencious to do anything but laugh at us. (we were just teasing anyway. he's a straight arrow.)
