To: Corin Stormhands
Maybe I'm a Scrooge, but I don't like most of the more modern Christmas movies. There are a few I do like; Miracle on 34th St., the original and the remake, It's a Wonderful Life, White Christmas, and The Christmas Box. I'm sure there are some others, but I usually don't go to the movies to see them. Either they're TV specials, or I watch the DVDs.

I WILL check out The Nativity, which is being made. I read a good article about it in the NY Times movie review section the other day.

I like "White Christmas". And "A Muppet Christmas Carol", "Christmas Vacation", and "A Christmas Story". Other than that I think most Christmas movies are too sappy for words. And not enough about the real meaning of Christmas.
