Matthew and I were going over his science last night. He was learning about the part of a sunspot called umbra. He says to me "You know, umbra means shadow in Latin."
This is his third year, as you know...he's taking Henle I.
I got a report from his teacher...he has a 98 average for the year so far. He had a test yesterday...he got a 31 out of 30. (He got the bonus question right.)
They play a game of some sort where they stand and ding a bell if they know the answer. He kept beating the teenagers, but he said he thought it was just because he was closer to the bell than them (he's shorter.) Ha ha!
