You should see it when the traffic stops on the bridge and there are high winds... it moves. Sways and undulates up and down... it's quite disconcerting sometimes. :-)
Just "drive by" post to say Hi! :o)
It's better than it ~was~ ;~)
Hi :~)
Heh. Yah, it's way better now. It doesn't break in the middle anymore.
Though... on that new bridge I think I'd let a few weeks go by before crossing it. As much trouble as they've had in the construction with bad materials and the last minute kluudges, and the sabotage of the equipment... something ain't right.
Agreed. I may let several years go by...
Er...yeah. It's always better when it doesn't do that...
Howdy!
...and don't drive through any tunnels in Boston.
*shudder*
Considering that's my WORST fear - except maybe something like running out of oxygen in a submarine - and considering I've been through some of the tunnels in Boston, if not the new Big Dig ones, I really can hardly read those news stories.
Ehhhhh...
No kidding...
But I look at the bright side. The Company will make a fortune off of the investigation.
It's really getting snotty outside now, up here.
Heh: The parking lot is flooding around this delivery truck, and it is pouring down rain in buckets. Delivery guy is loading a handtruck and not happy about it.
The delivery? Water.
There's a song lyric in there somewhere, about delivering water in the rain.
Heh... Funny! We haven't seen much here, today, really. Not sure if it's delayed, or not hitting here very hard.
What a world class jerk.
Ireland, huh? Kewl! They like little cars over there, and I'm sure there are quite a few old bugs still hanging around.
Be sure to stop off for a while next time, and have a cup of coffee, or a pint!
Makes me queasy every time I see that video!
We have to go through the tunnels to get to the airport. Luckily, the problem seems to be mostly in the approach ramps coming from I-93, which we don't normally use, unless there's a detour that way. The last time I flew in to Boston, it took us 20 minutes snaking through a detour that went right through downtown, when the regular route normally took us 5 minutes! Thankfully, it was in the middle of the night, without the typical downtown traffic.
WooHoo! Afternoon funkle! Gotta go out and finish the painting before the rain arrives this evening. How's about a cup of coffee in an hour or so?
