Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Mawwage is what bwings us togethew today!

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

Is it over at the store? Maybe I'll go grab it right quick after I get changed and before we head out...

Did your movie come?

I just saw X-Men 3 the other night.

Yep, we saw it in the theater, naturally. It's not too bad... not as good as 2, imho, but still pretty good. (And yes, we sat throught the credits!)

Happy birthday, girlfriend! May you have so many, many more!

Now ... to the fun stuff! What'd you get for yourself?

I have to tell you how much I'm enjoying the Stephanie Plum books! I'm reading "Two for the Dough" right now. Stephanie has a nasty mouth, but she's the quintessential 'Jersey Girl'

mmmmm...baked salmon...

Oh you meant cookies...mmmm...them too!

But here's muh question about Season 2...

I thought I had another DVD to get through, and I couldn't find an episode guide that gave me enough detail. Did Season 2 end with Michael and Walt leaving in the boat and Jack, Kate and Sawyer being held by the Others?

I just gotta know...

You don't have to take part in any of it, do you? It is shameful that disputes among Christians can be so ugly, sometimes. Unfortunately I see it among Catholics, too.

Finally got the lawn mowed tonight. Barely beat the sunset though... and dew was setting fast. There's nothing like wetting grass and an electric lawnmower to make you step very lightly and move very quickly... :-)
